OK i got in by making a new character, this is what is being broadcast through the help channel, dont know who the poster is though

Please reboot the server each night until the next patch at 7 hours to DT, this would be much prefferable to me than not being able to log in at all. Oh and a reboot now so that everyone in this thread can login would be nice.
...glad I'm not the one who has to track this problem down in the end. |

they seem to think "its only 5hours to downtime and that will fix it"
heres some news, its been coming back every day for over a week, the DT reboot wont fix it.

Why didnt CCP tell us they had added a second daily downtime?
It's only fair to warn us that you are scheduling downtime for 3 mornings in a row around the same time 
I've had terrible lag since cold war, buddy list of 30 people taking 15 seconds to load, context menu's always being slow, client synch problems in space(objects not being where client says they are), fitting a ship can take minutes just to try fit and turn on the modules.

Ok, here is an update with my stuck character. I went to character log in screen and notice they moved my stuck character to a different system. So I attempted to enter game. The "Entering Game As...." progress bar completed and then it said "FAILED". LOL!!! Thats kinda scary.
I would rather die a free man than live as a slave. |

After 10 minutes 'Entering Game As...' I've got to 'Entering Station'. The suspense is killing me! Freecell has nothing on this...

Exactly.
This is utter bull****.
I for one do not want to be compensated by a few cents off my bill (i'm paid for like a year so it doesn't help me at all).
They should take the length of 'technical difficulties' and shorten whatever skill we were training by that amount.
That would be fair, this is just bull****. I want to go to sleep but if the server fixes itself in 20min i'm gonna be ****ed off tommorow

nothing will be done.
as its downtime in a few hours.
and tomorrow at the same time we will have the same problems again.
