Not once have I ever complained about the DAILY shutdown between 9pm & 10pm each day. Thats what I get living in Australia. Thats acceptable, I've known that was going to happen since i started playing, but it gets a bit much when my hour of play time is further disrupted by ANOTHER unscheduled reboot 10 minutes after the servers have just come up.
ITS REDICULOUS. GET YOUR GAME WORKED OUT.

Fix the hardware - then the software will run much better.

Third downtime today (including the 1 hour schedule). Annoying, but just time to get another coffee and chill a bit.
Hopefully CCP can fix these issues soon?

i agree, and wow, "had to reboot this morning". You guys are forgetting the previous couple of days or you have a selective memory?

ok so our selective memory needs to extend to ongoing reboots in recent days (hardware/software or player load) issues - ok so patch delayed again. A simple thing like deleting corp evemails is presenting so many issues could it be the constant crashes are due to corp and alliance evemails building up creating lots more lag ?

i run complexes - of course the respawn of keys etc straight after downtimes is fun short term but if this keeps up it will upset more players. Lets try tha patch for friday or saturday this week if it can be done.

As has already been stated by Kieron as player load increases so does the amount and capacity of servers and during those times things tend to get a little hairy.
Patience is a virtue and you will all go to heaven where angels frollick with harps and servers have no downtime.

These hiccups are nothing.

ah yes world of warcrash - is a direct correlation between the number of players and the amount of crashing go up in a straight line ?

I think it has more to do with the number of alfalfa nuggets you feed the hamsters daily.

more players more hamsters more feed required to keep em working ? new replacement wheel that allows em to run 10% faster.

killing a nice big hauler spawn, saw reboot message got all the haulers killed off ensuring the loot was there at least. Logged back in every belt cans have gone, only a 10min downtime and every piece of loot is removed
Becoming more and more of an issue over the past 2 weeks!

NPC cans get 'cleaned up' by a reboot, player ones do not. -> switch loot to jetcan -> solved.

GMT +8 here.... Taiwan (aka "The Boonies)
I know what Kieron said about the load issue but the server crashes in the past week between 7am and 8am GMT happened when the least amount of players were online. Take a look at the server graph on eve-i.com, set it to display a one week timeframe and it all becomes clear.
We need a definitive fix to server instability as well as the psychotic overview which can't make up it's mind what colors to display. We do not need a button that displays the EULA added to the client. Well, that can be added too but not now!
*sigh* Sorry about the rant everyone... had to get it out of my system
