Is there a list of locations for Cosmos agents?, or alternatively can someone point me in the direction of a cosmos agent in the Caldari area?
I haven't really had much experience with cosmos agents and I cant seem to find a guide on getting started with them?

yeah, i have had a good look through those resources, but I cant see anything specifically detailing cosmos agents.
How do I find them?
Do I have to have good standings before they introduce themselves?
any help, however basic would be appreciated.

You mean you looked and either didn't find or didn't understand RnD Guy's COSMOS agents list OR the Cold War Edition patch notes?
Maybe you shouldn't be doing any COSMOS missions then because many of them require at least some amount of investigative acumen.

Thankyou for your help JP (pity it had to be in a sarcastic fashion).
Yes I have looked at those articles, however they do not answer my questions ie.
How do I find them? - do I need to use probes?, are there logs that direct you to them?, do agents refer you?, can I search for them using "my agents" filter?
Do I need standings? and if so, which corporation?
I apologise if I have offended you by asking a question, but thanks for the help anyhow.

You need standing to access any agent. But since there are agents with different levels and since they pick whatever standing category is highest (faction or corporation in practice), you'll find some you can use.
Nothing all that unsual.

Tommy, if you use the agent list, you will find them easily enough.
