Edited by: Famine Aligher''ri on 31/08/2005 20:08:23 It's hard to really do that. Just give ya some skills to focus on first.
-Miner- Mining - III Frig - IV Spaceship Command - III Gallente Indust - I or II (For Hauler) Refine - II Drones - II Mining Drones - II Scout or Medium Drones - II Science - II
Guess around here you want to mine better than refine better. You know for barges.
Indust - II Refine - III Mining - IV Science - IV Astrogeology - III Indust - III Astrogeology - IV Indust - IV Galente Indust - III Indust - V Mining Barge - II
Something along those lines. You can toss in more support for your hauler and cruiser like "Navigation" skills to use Afterburners and stuff too. Hard to give ya a set outline. But if y ou like follow a outline of something similar without trying to head skills up so high so fast for one thing. You can atleast mine decent while you wait. Without having to dock at the station waiting for like science to be IV or something.
Trader wise, you might want to look into Charasima learning skill. Start with Trade skill first, marketining ect next. It's very cool to have visibility and all the other skills that allow you to control the market. I can give ya help on that being it confuses so many people.
Marketing - You can sell items remote from your Assets window. Depending on level of marketing depends on how many jumps away you can be to sell it.
Procurement - This is like Marketing but with buy orders. Depending on skill is how far away from the station you can place a buy order remotly at a station. You can only place buy orders from the station you're currently docked at. This skill allow you to place buy orders from where your at and however many jumps away your skill allows you to place them at those current stations.
Visibility - When you use Marketing to sell a item from a station that's many hops away from your station. Then you have the option to set the visibility of that item for so many hops and or region based on visibility skill. So when you sell a item with Marketing skill. You will now have the option of setting how far people can see it when they open market. So the item will have better promotion. Good skill
Daytrading - This is the skill for both remote buy and sell orders. Again like Visibility. If you're at the station of the local order. You can edit the item. But if you're remote selling/setting buy you cannont being you're not at the station. This skill allows you to edit the items based on the skill level.
Level 1 - Same solar System Level II - System your in + 5 Jumps Level III - Doubles Level IV - Doubles Level V - Region
Trading is pretty cool and hard to use with these skills. The idea is to buy items in the region localy or set remote buy orders at stations. Then sell them remotly from your station without having to leave the station. You can then use the escrow currior services to get haulers to move stuff for you for a price. All types of neat things to do. Spend time on a good trading ship that is flexibale for both low security and high security. Like Covert Ops.
Cheers!

Cause the best Gallante Indy holds the most.
Another good way to start figureing out what you want to train and when to train it is to tak a long look at the market with show only avaible items turned off. Make sure you look at the required skills for each item that seems intersting to you.Should you find any of it confuseing pop over to the help channel and ask abought it there is a very active group of players that seem to be there for the better part of every day most of whom are helping.....most of the time.
Your not stupid just misinformed Ö

I've found that the "Help" channel is full of elitist beta alts who think noobs are so much wastage. Every time I ask question i get more "LOL"s and "STFUN00B"s that actual help. I don't hate the Betas and Lifers for being more experienced. I dislike them for being arrogant buggers who thump you if you don't play into their little ego trip. |

for miners mining barge V is a definite requirement. Allows u to use the 3 slot mining barge - fitting modulated strip miner II or ice miners II are the biggest ISK spinner and in terms of corps and alliances if u are a miner that can mine to the max u will be in demand.

Actually, most beta players and very experienced people probably don't hang out in Help. Most of the people who are there are probably newer players who enjoy laughing at the newest ones because they haven't figured out certain things yet. You'll find that most truly experienced people don't bother with that channel because of the useless posts by trolls and prefer to help players directly.

So true F'nog ^^ Most beta players I know help peoples around them (not only corp, but also locals). We are 3 or 4 in our corp.

So true. Interestingly enough if you're able to speak and understand german, the german version of help (fittingly called "Hilfe") is pretty much the exact opposite.
I personally prefer helping directly in local as well...
