In the beginning I saw all these people here and on other places complain how their corp got cleaned out by thieves. But people got wiser, CCP waved a magic wand (50% chance they actually don't even cause more problems ofcourse) and the voices silenced
The cruiser prints were emerging on the player market and players were over and over again conned by people doing promises and demanding to be paid in advance. CCP did nothing since they ocfourse cure stupidity (in which case they certainly would have treated some of their members working on PR and the people who manage the deadlines)
Also now a new trend has emerged/grew more serious which is stealing and wasting ore-cans. (again CCP waved their magic wand and now all we can do is hope this won't turn into anther fiasco(CCP being notoriously slow on repairing things and even worse on things they consider 'fixed')
I'm not foolish enough to believe that 'criminals' performing these acts and others like it attach very much to their chars. But still I don't believe they will go through the trouble of going creating new chars for every new scam. Especially if it takes investing in the char.
It's amazing how often the chars warned for on the boards are not deleted afterwards, maybe only second to how people after that still fall for the tricks of these people.
Therefore I call upon everybody to start posting known grievers and thieves in one post. This to end everybody posting the names individually in new threads, resulting the names to become lost among the numerous anti-pirate, anti-carebear, 'the-last-pactch-sucked' and propaganda-battlereports.
Also I call upon the mods to create a sticky for this purpose. Ofcourse it's highly unlikely they will, so perhaps people should comeup with a better solution like some page containing the names.
Though I have to say I don't think this should be used for known pirates, since these are not griefing (well most of them are not) and are using underhand tactics (anyway, just reading your map is often all the warning you will need).

FYI, I only had one encounter with this and that was in beta.
But I think people should not have to delve through the numerous posts on this forum to look for known cons.

Shut the hell up! you camplain and complain! have you ever played online pc games? they nearly all have bugs! this is the most user freindly game Ive played in a while .if you dont like it then quit playing. we have enough of you noobs. go back home to mamma, and quit wasting your breath.
and why the hell are you looking for "known cons" in the forums? you should be in the game for that ..lol..too funny. and BTW beta was then , this is now.

I find it funny that people always complain the devs aren't doing thier jobs, simply because of the fact that thier own stupidity got them ripped off.
CCP doesn't do anything about it because eve is just that sort of game, in fact i'd think they'd encourage it..

Wow! Shock is suggesting that we, as players, band together to protect each other against thieves instead of relying on CCP and some of you label him as a whiner and stupid for falling for cons?
Sure seems like some of you forgot to buy the Reading Comprehension skill, are trying to socially engineer this into the ground so it's forgotten or have never had your trust betrayed even after trying to be cautious.

My old corp. got cleaned out by a "mole" who took us for everything we were worth.
Were we ****ed? You bet. Did we contract out to pirates to pod him? Yup. Did we gripe to the devs for our stuff back? Nope.
What did we do? We got even.
To me, it was exciting. The corp. raiders are providing content by giving us villians. One of the best times I had was planning a 'hit' in Empire space and (almost) pulling it off.
Just like these megacorps that are warring now, thieves make the game interesting. The community is doing what CCP intended us to do - writing our own story and not waiting around for the next quest to be handed to us.

this games is extreemly user friendly,this game is adaptive. meaning you adaot to conditions arround you if you cant do that please erase yourself from our species. adapt and overcome weve been doing it for years dont let us hear your complaining cause your too lazy to adapt and think. and thats all it is lazyness do you think lazy people get rich in eve nope the ones that think and act get ahead. get a clue and see that your the problem because you are reacting instead of acting.
