This is some fraps I made from two kills I made with some friends, one of our first succesfull nights as pirates. It's my first "movie" so be kind on me. If there is anyway I can improve my quality while still playing at max res I would love to hear how.

Nice vid, likes the music, differant from all of the nightwish that gets used all the time.

I enjoyed it, nice to see new players getting into PVP.

A nice little vid, well done indeed.
I don't usually focus on things like this ... but I absolutely hated the first song  sorry, I'm not a huge linkin park fan, but I enjoy their music, and it was sad to see one of their songs ruined by "I've got nintey-nine problems but the ***** aint one."
Anyway, I liked the vid, some good combat there, well done and kudos to you for having the guts to take on an armageddon. What ships did you use against it? I noticed cruise missiles I think so that would have been a ferox, rupture and rifter? A well balanced little pvp group 
I also liked the 'incoming transmission' - I'll bet that took you a while to animate, and it came out well, so well done there too.
For your next one, you could consider speeding up the combat just a little, it adds a bit of spice to it.
Nice job.

It actually was a rifter/celestis/caracal group, a cheap but a really balanced group.

He was trying.
He managed to gank all 8 of my drones. 
Celestis equipped with 4 tech 2 Sensor Dampeners FTW matey. We made sure that we were orbiting well outside of his effective range. I think towards the end he did manage to target the Rifter and Nos him a bit which was a minor inconvenience, but could have led to his escape.
I'm guessing the Rifter was orbiting too fast for his guns to track and he didn't fit a webber. He was a relative battleship noob but it was still satisfying for us. Especially since I had already lost two Celestises that week.
The Geddon pilot was really steamed, but he chilled after a while and he was actually not a bad bloke once the verbal abuse dried up.
Going a little bit off topic, I must say that Lyticus, your videos are awesome and definitely a big factor for me deciding to don the eyepatch. The Snigg crew in general release top-notch forum material, whether it be videos or otherwise.
I hope sometime in the future when I have more spare time I would also like to try my hand at making some fun videos.
Great job with video Tyranique and I think the first song kicked some serious ass. It was the most fun I've ever had in EVE taking down that Geddon and ransoming the Apoc, shame the Apoc wasn't in the video but I'm sure there was a good reason. Keep up the good work matey. |
