I think some of the first questions are slightly missleading. I'm getting a worse match with certain candidates because I don't have the same experience as them. What I do in EVE doesn't necessary mean I want a person of the same aspect of the game to represent what I want to happen to the game.

The answers you give in the survey only indicate which answers you will accept from a candidate to that question - not necessarily what represents your personal way of playing. That's why it says



Additionally, you can choose to exclude questions on the results page. Simply select the questions with their little checkbox and then click the button that says "Question options" and select "Exclude selected questions". This will mean those questions will disappear and they will not be counted towards your matching score.

They should give us an option for voting to scrap the csm altogether in the next election.

If that's not included then the usual candidate called "not voting" gets (well doesn't get actually) my vote.

CCP has plans for this game and they will not let our flaky votes get in the way of that.

You'd be surprised to learn how much influence the CSM has over those plans. But you know, you can keep on being bitter about it.

I believe this is where you're supposed to put forth an example.


So give me an example of something that CCP intended to implement but after conferring with the ESM before implementation the ESM made them either not do it or changed CCPs decision.

You are quite correct; I use the modern sense of the word and base my posting on facts and logic.

The CSM is a farce and a public relation tool for CCP-¿
aslong less than 25 % of all elegible voters actually vote is will stay that way , not to mention easily manipulated
only thing the candidates are after is a free trip to iceland anything else is irrelevant and even then who in his right mind would want to go there
anyway if there is a option to vote blanc i will otherwise , the CSM elections can go somewhere where the sun doesn't shine

It boggles my mind why someone who was trying to run for CSM wouldn't want the exposure, but hey.

Great tool. I especially liked being able to read the comments by the candidates on WHY they answered the way they did, and sort out all the questions in the match table I didn't care about. Even though my chosen candidate was lower on the match list than some others, the comments in the table helped me understand why, and I was able to form a more educated assessment of their position.

This is a lot better than last year's, IIRC. Great work. Interestingly, the two people I endorsed were also the two at the top of my list. I also like the "essay" answers that were allowed for each question so if I had an opposing opinion I could see why the candidate answered the way they did.

Only a couple scraped by the 50% mark for me, it seems to point to none of them being interested much in representing what I want out of the game I refuse to vote for HS hating meatheads so i'm finished with the voting.

The CSM has the same problem as candidates in RL. No one actually cares about anything other than getting elected.

Nice Tool! Made a match and i was suprised by the results. A lot in the tops were my favourites, but there are 2 or 3 i'd never voted for. Anyway, it's sad there are still candidates missing. You should promote more for this tool. And maybe promote it more to the playerbase. There are a lot of players who would vote but don't know what candidate. Of cource, this should not take the decision from the players, but it would help to encourage them getting more informations about various candidates.

Very well done. I was originally only going to check of two candidates since there are so many others who I know little about. This is great in helping us know the others!
