How do you get drones from a container in space into your dronebay ?
Is that even possible at all ?

you can't, you can only put drones into your dronebay from a station

Drones in cans must be moved to the cargo bay.
Drones abandoned in space (without can) may be scooped to the drone bay if:
1. They have been in space long enough to forget their former owners and become 'disabled'. I don't know how long this takes.
2. If you have room in the drone bay for them.

So, other then ammunition, there is no way to transfer drones between players so that they can be used when away from a station...
Seems a bit dim to me. After all, you can hardly equal drones to turrets can you ? I understand how modules can't be changed in space, and that does make sense. But drones get "used up" over time in a way akin to ammo, so why no ability to change them other then having a drone carrying ship leave them behind artificially for someone else to claim once the delivering ship has gone ?
How about at a POS ? Do ship hangars allow drone bays to be replenished ?

You can scoop them to your cargo hold in space as well.

If you could transfer drones from cargo to drone bay,the drone bay would be pointless, as all you would have to do is:-
1. Launch drones
2. Fill drone bay from cargo
3. Launch drones again,
(repeat until you run out of drones or skill maximum)
Voila - Exploit!!

True, yet wouldn't the possibility to get take drones from a cargo container and putting them into your dronebay be exploitable ? Let's say with the provision that you have no controlled drones in space at the time ? Of course, that would mean the same liitation would need to be applied to scooping drones to dronebay, no active drones in space at the time.
