Try to reply to this topic again.
But before you press "post reply", check the left side of the screen and see the in-game-board menu in yellow. Go to Settings and work your way there.

There were only selections for Race, Corp and Default Character and signature. I did not see one for picture.

Try checking the 'default character' option under settings and see what happens. I have mine on...
