I'm looking at training an AF to try to take advantage of the missile changes vs frigs. I hear with a gistii booster these can do Guristas fine, but I'm left with the question of which one? I only have the time in the forseeable future to train one race's frig 5. The Caldari and Gallente AFs are the ships in question due to resists, but I'm also left wondering what other T2 frigs I could get out of the deal. Is there a huge advantage on either side as far as the sum total of their T2 frigs' effectiveness?

I love the enyo for running/tanking gurista's agent missions. With cheap mods you can get 90/80 resist on the armour just using passive hardners and still fit a tech2 rep. If your going to tank lvl4 missions for friends you will just end up passive shield tanking the bs's anyway though. The harpy is nice but you need lvl5 af to get the dmg the enyo has right away. Just my thoughts.

Gallante. Taranis is arguably the best overall ceptor in the game, and both assault frigs own. Ares blows though.

Amarr - Retribution tanks like a badass mofo, very good bait ship, plus does nice damage.

u want caldari or gallente
both have there advantages
i personally like caldari, and if you just want an AF for guristas killing, i suggest caldari with a gistii booster and t2 rails
however, if you are planning to get an inty soon, train gallente - their AFs are just as good, but the taranis is a MUCH better inty than the caldari ones

crows are a pain in the ass if the people using them knows how to set them up and knows how to use them...

AF: caldari - very good for pvp/npc
Ceptor: i would say gallente
all in all IMHO go gallente 1st, seeing both the ceptors and AF's are very nice.
