Since i'm in TEST I experience quite some larger fights.
TIDI is a known issue and cant be avoided on my part.
However, I also experience very low FPS.
Is this avoidable?
If yes, what should i upgrade in order to keep 60+ FPS at max settings even during 400-500+ fights?
My setup:
PC: CPU: i7 920 @ 2.67GHz CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus RAM: 6GB 1333 MHz GFX: 2x Sapphire HD6950 Dirt3 Edition in crossfire PSU: Coolermaster 700W Silent Pro SSD: Samsumg 830 256GB HDD: 1TB Chassis: Cooler Master CM 690
Monitors: 27" Fujitsu 1920x1080 2x AOC 1920x1080
TIA for anyone that can help me. |

I'd look into a few things:
1. Upgrade CPU to IvyBridge, a I5 3570k is a good mid point performance/price wise, motherboard will have to be upgraded too I think.Overclock that Ivy to 4.3-4.5 Ghz. 2. Overclock your current CPU to it's max, aim 4ghz looky here: http://www.overclock.net/t/538439/guide-to-overclocking-the-core-i7-920-or-930-to-4-0ghz +it haz other stuffs to look at 3. Play in fullscreen, no window or borderless window type of stuffs 4. Disable stuff you don't need on the graphical side
This may or may not help you achieve your goals and as such take it with a grain of salt, gl |

yeah? well I live next door to Jita
how many clients?
if your priority is -being- there to fight, you could try turning down all graphics settings and joining a real alliance jk
the main categories for expansion I see are RAM and video card, not necessarily RAM for the client, but so that you have it to spare around everything else running on your computer.
if you are running just one client, after the cheap-ish upgrade of RAM I would say get the most expensive video card you can afford, but avoid ones that offer rebates. rebates are offered for reasons like high rates of defective returns, or the thing just isn't selling.
