Like the title says, the ability to setup station cans and share access to them between characters much like corp hangars would be awesome. Seeing how you encourage alts this would make managing them much easier. |

Rent an Office?
As for characters in NPC corps, well, that's a benefit they lose for the ability to be hide from War Decs.
You can contract stuff still.

0.0 alliances dont just let random alt corps in. And pos access for this purpose requires corp hangar access which outside of 1 man alt corps isnt an option.

The station containers you can buy an setup to help organize your crap. Make these accesible to other players.
Be able to right click, configure, and then add other players to an access list. They'll act like corp hangars just without the need to create a corp, or the need for a corp to risk hangar rights. |

Lots of people, including me, have multiple accounts. Sharing inventory by contracts is tedious and time consuming.
This idea would partially solve the problem.
Let me throw out another possible solution:
Linked accounts
In the account management page you set up a link with a password.
In the account management page you can connect and account to a link if you know the password.
All linked accounts have a single inventory and can deposit and withdraw from that inventory at will. |

Back end work for that would be significantly more effort.
I kinda like the idea of a small container that you can put a list of names on and it shows up in everyone's inventory. Put on some add/remove/view controls and it would be quite a powerful tool.
It's also a short term workaround to corp offices and terrible corp roles.

Just because CCP allows players to have and use multiple accounts it doesn't mean that CCP should balance the game around having multiple accounts. It discourages player to player interaction and cooperation.
Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

I am running 2 accounts and this would be a huge blessing!!
Trading or contracting are both tedious at best and does cost money ( contracts ) or time to both be there at the same time( trading )
Renting an office if fine if you :
A) Have the right roles to restrict access to you and you alt(s)
B) Have a Corp that does not mind letting you use up on of 7 defined corp hangers for personal stuff
C) Have that much stuff in one place to justify the rental costs
Personally I run missions all over the place, I end up with many stations that have 3000-4000 ^m of stuff in them that I would love to share ( ammo, drones, modules etc. )
Even a lower cost rental restricted to say 1,000,000^m as a shared bin for a white list of people set up like corp roles ( Query, Take ) would be awesome!
As a side note it would also be nice for a corp to add a layer of protection from AWOX tactics. |
