Yep the player called ASH is now known to be a spy for the Red Corsairs. He will scout out your defences / blockades then tell them all about em. He is belived to be the alt of Cyrix. Feel free to pod on sight :) "Death Before Dishonor" |

Edited by: Crepiscule on 26/07/2003 22:36:07 Actually he wasn't but since you felt the need to keep him locked in the station for some reason, he was more than happy to give up information.
I think we may have actually shot his ship down at some point in the past too.
On a side note. That was a nice little force you put together there. Imagine my surprise when I found out you had 3 of my members surrounded by 4 Battleships and 10 others at one point.
So much attention, I can't help but feel flattered. Now if you would only leave the safety of the sentry guns, we might be able to have some fun.

red corsair has a spy to scout out other pirates defences/blockades? nothing to stop em but their pirates last time i checked so why would they need to "scout out defences/blockades" they make their own!

The exact story is that RC have been attacking a couple of our members so we decided to pay em a house call at home. There were several RC in the station only, so we blocked both stargates and the station. Then all of a sudden a noob char appeared from the station and procced to check each belt, planet and gate announcing what was where. We even explained we were only blockading pirates and he decided this then applied to him so the natural assumption would be he was a spy.
Crepiscule as for your comment on fighting, I would be more than happy to oblige but im not the one that runs for the safety of a station every time I dont have at least a 5 to 1 advantage. You gang up on other player and sometimes they gang up on you. If you ever want a fair one on one or even numbers fight im sure it can be aranged. "Death Before Dishonor" |

Stations do not provide any real protection for a pirate so to speak. Yes you can wait there till reinforcements arrive, but that's about it.
I wouldn't expect anyone who was outnumbered 3 to 1 let alone an enemy who had 4 battleships at hand to fly to their deaths.
Had you checked back at the station instead of polishing the sentry guns you would have noticed that we had left the station and were actively moving about looking for someone to attack.
Had your group been comprised of only Voyager members, then maybe we would have engaged you at the jumpgates. But since you have quite a few different corps, there really was no reason to and have the sentry guns fire on us.
I congratulate you on rounding up so many people though. It does make it more fun.
