I've been having trouble getting cash. I made a post 2 weeks ago about this but I could not find it. Trying to save up for around a 4-10mil ISC ship. But with my play times its kind of hard.
Im looking for a good place to either farm 4-8k pirates or a good way to make cash in my merlin. I'm currently at Gekutami. Doing missions out there for some ISC. But I'm pretty poor.
In game I'm LOPP SYDED
Thanks in advance!

Invest in a freighter (Badger II is about 750k ISK i think).
Do trade runs. They usually make you a million in profit if you trade well and don't take long.
Just don't go through 0.4 and below ;) ------ (\_/) (O.o) (> <) |

You could consider hunting in a 0.4 or 0.3 system, the rats there will net you quite a bit more isk per kill. Plus the loot is much better for you to use or sell for more money.

Honestly as a newbie it is really difficult to go it on your own. It's going to take you a long time to get something like an industrial ship, along with the skill to fly it, and then start afk mining scordite someplace.
It would be much easier for you if you joined a newbie corp and just got some help. Get a few loans and get all your basic skills purchased, then someone will probably front you a cruiser or whatever.

I have a badger, how do I do trade runs? I've only ever done agent missions!

A freighter is definately NOT something he should, as broke as he is, be looking into getting.....it's an industrial ship he wants. A freighter, at his point in the game is such a ridiculous notion as to be completely laughable to suggest it.
BUT!! Definately look in to getting an industrial....cargo runs can be quite lucrative if you do your homework and really research certain commodities in your area.
Missions are not a bad way to make money....but you won't start making serious money until you reach level 3 and 4 agents.
You can do mining now or you can try and get on with a 0.0 oriented corporation so you can gain unhindered (relatively speaking) access to the better ores and higher paying NPCs.

If you have a badger, fill it with expanders and buy sell minerals - Trit is a good place to start. Find a big buy order then look for people selling it for less then the buy price. Check us out

You wont make any cash runnin missions in a Merlin.
I suggest throwin Miner II's on their, gettin a Badger and mining to a can, then pick it up in the badger, take it back to the station, and sell it.
Or if you hate hate hate mining, get a kestrel. Put on a missle that hits with kin dmg, some PDU's and whatever you want in the mids. And do level 1 missions. Use your map to find lvl 1 agents available to you.
