Thirdly, Svet, how in the hell can you call yourself a fleet commander, you refuse to get a mic, even when I was in SGE, me, garand, portney, smasher, rampage not to mention several other people all offered to buy you one, hell I even offered to send it to you, so if ou dont talk on TS, you cant be a Fleet commander. (thats a personal opionan)
Well i wasnt, but i just had to. and im not gonna discuss any other issues in this thread than this funny little thing ive noticed in many local smacks and forum posts by species members.
That funny little thing is their appearant obseession with titles like this fleet commander thingy. And many a times ive seen the original poster been put down by species members over this issue amongst others naturally like the gender issue
Ive been around the original poster quite some time and never once has that person called itself a fleet commander nor is that person thinking very much about fleet commanding in general and in fact that person has always tried to stay away from fleets that are around...
...and if that said person stumbles into a fleet, doesnt really take any commanding part since at any give moment there are lots of ppl that are eager and willing to commmand other ppl, unless there simply is noone else that is doing anything, as it is on rare ocasions...
And you are right shivan, ppl that wanna command others should have a mic..
But i find it quite funny how many Species members seem very occupied by titles and imaginary tags existing in a virtual reality, like emperor and fleet commander and are maybe applying those characteristics too much on others
and who in their right mind would wanna take any "command" anyways, with ppl like bold and aeryn sun around....best stfu and jump and align

In fleet battles like in the FIX/Coalition war killoards do not mean much at all. The same kill will appear under mass and species and any other corp that took part in killing that ship. This means that one ship lost by a FIX member in a fleet battle like this http://ig.eve-fix.com/kb/kill_detail.php?kll_id=9106
will count as 3 different kills, one for each of the corps.
Im not saying your wrong or anything just that killboards should not be relied apon for accurate information. when many corps are on the same killmail.
no fix killboard is inaccurate many loses unaccounted for
Unfortunately, our killboard is incapable of reflecting kills lost due to the target petitioning his way out of a gate camp.
cool...but what about that inaccurate killbaord of yours

Originally by: Kujin omg i bet most of FIX pilots involved into the first weekend still remember Supermarine smacking in local for 8 hours
hah yeah I remember that. I went to bed as all the action had ended pretty much and the Fix fleet was just securing the area. And Supermarine was smacking on local none stop... so went to sleep. Woke up early next morning and omg... he's still at it.
I think thats a record in Eve. Even Fatballs only managed 3-4 hours In 1 go, but 8... that really takes some doing heh.

There are ppl I got a lot of respect for in both SGE and Species, and they know who they are.
I do have to comment that it took a long time for Species to show up in Fethyobolis to fight 5 months ago, and yet generally speaking they were quick to produce members in Omist to mine/npc. I am speaking in a general way, as there are obvious exceptions.
However, after masterminding an invasion that was to go to FA only to see it called off at the screaming of some Species members for MASS to come help vs FIX I can only say... weeenies!!!!
Of active members (not the number that show on info) SGE has a much larger percentage that fight then Species did have a few months ago. I don't mean to imply Species wont fight, merely they have a lot of members that seem to want to do other things while online.
Just my observation.

Originally by: shivan As for SGE being most deadily, I was on the FIX forumes and kill boards dayly checking things out due to my job I get a lot of spare time to forume *****. I remember Priory being the most deadly and also having the most deadly pilot. so STFU about that.
What an awesome week that was, me and ice both put in 14 hour days all week and the little git just managed to get on more killmails than me. Damn swedes, in fact Ice was top of the FIX killboards that week! (Or drew with Marco, something like that). Anyway back on topic about the FAT fighting. Corps i regularly saw with more than 2 people a lot were Species, Mass and us really thats all i remember. I definatly didnt see a load of SGE when i was running gangs. Even devils brigade who couldnt really understand what was going on on ts (language barrier, as i understand it english and russian arent very similar) put more effort in and did a better job than SGE and the like. So dont give me that rubbish and bending the truth, i know i have better things to do with my time. You?

Till our next fight salute.

Nah, the highlight of that night, after FIX had been near silent in local for almost 8 hours, reading the pure spew Supermarine was throwing out near non-stop, was the response from FIX.
At that point, commenced the only officially sanctioned FIX smackfest to have happened. Leading the troops in what was a supremely humiliating verbal thrashing of the much deserving Supermarine, were FIXs own 3 JCOS at the time. He logged. I seriously have to find that chatlog again

One of the long days I was in FAT local was almost totally silent for 8+ hours. That was good. Although I do sometimes enjoy *friendly* chat with enemies in local. I used to talk to the Botox guys and also the VOTF guys in local, there was a respect there. Constant smack in local is bad.

Well I've been in both SGE and Species for long periods each so I know something of both sides . I like all the people in both corps and I know that some things have been said and done by both sides that hurt alot. I would like to see a willingness on both sides to "bury the hatchet" so to speak ( and not in my head ty very much) Dont we have enuf non stainers to shoot ? Sad but repairable in my opinion. Regards Thorval
