Somebody think it's really worth it putting it t2 through out.
Somebody give me a goood fitting for solo fighting (close range plz) and be able to work in groups too.
I know the fitting is somewhere out there, hope it will end in this post.

Set it up like a thorax with a Tracking Disruptor II, then laugh at all the battleships that can't touch you.

runsmwd indefinately at 50% cap
runs rep well.

uhh... no?
the rax can be setup that way successfuly because of its shiny big drone bay...
the vigilant can launch...get this... 5 drones from its itsy bitsy drone bay!
so no, get it fitted up with med ions or something, or better still sell it and buy 8 thorax's :D

For someone who doesnt have the skill to use tech 2 gear, what would you recommend for the Vigilant?

on mine i put 5 250mm prototype gauss 1 same as t2 does require some good grid skills and a couple of rcu's in med i put a t2/or best named you can afford 10mn ab(for deadspace) else 10mn mwd
a gistii a-type small sheild and 2x rat specific sheild hardeners(ie serp kin and therm)
after fitting those and the ruc's put whatever else you can fit be it 2 damage mods or 1 and a pdu to give extra sheild and cap i use antimater give a 15km optimal but can shoot anything from 32kms to 5kms dishes alot of damage i tried the same guns in a bs with 7 x vortex 1 and gauss 1 damage mods and couldnt match it for the damage multi

anyone have a setup that includes a beautiful 1600mm rolled tungsten, i got a dreamy 5796 armour HP's with only 375 power grid left and just over 400 cpu I wondered what thoughts you might have had in setting this baby up.
I could lose the plate and opt for one of the above setups - gonna be support for a zealot me thinks this evening going huntin wabbits, thx.

NB: and yeah I didnt realise these ships didnt have a frikkin large drone bay when I bought it

joking aside theres no real need for u to use one when the rax does a better job, never underestimate the rax's drone bay, its what sets it apart.
I picked up this ace book today everyone rates it as a must buy for the budding military genius, tho ive decided to rename it as "Sun Tzu's art of the bloody obvious" |

yeah your probably right - thorax defo 4tw, I just wanna use this bird and not let it gather dust its been in my hangar for over a month untouched - time to unleash the pain.
