i got my rof to 7.87 without mods, so far.
all ready go hac to 5, heavy specialisation to 4 rapid fire to 4 -4days and hald to 5, training.
but can some one calculate accurately what will the orf be with 4 BC pandomonium, and skills ate max. in my case i still have 2% and 3% to get from skills . alone.

I thin Jim Raynor told me with Max skills Cerbie gets 333 DPS, thats still pretty poor IMO i dont fly Caldari hacs but i think Cerbie needs an extra launcher slot, or 10% to all missile daamges instead of 5% to kinetic Heavy NOS 4tw! |

My current Cerberus ROF is 5.92sec Current damage per KINETIC Heavy Missile is 353.2 Current DPS = 298
This is achieved by using four dread gurista ballistic controls.
The only skills left to enhance damage further: Heavy Assault Ships 5 will drop the ROF by 5% [training] Warheads 5 will increase missile damage by 2% Heavy Missile Specialization 5 will decrease ROF by an additional 2%
I do believe the theoretical maximum damage output a Cerberus can possibly ever do, using faction ballistics (not officer), is ~333dps.
While 333 is pretty low.. you can do it from up to 160km, which is pretty cool. Realistically though, even from 40-60km that's not too shabby.. still though Cerberus is pretty lacking unfortunately.  ------

With normal BCS, and more normal skills, you're looking at around 250-260 DPS in a Cerb. Thats full gank, it doesn't leave much room for defensive fittings.

whats ur rof without damage mods, while using t2 lunchers or arbs heavys.
i have 6.3 rof with 4 balistic control 1

8.11sec without any mods what so ever 6.5 with 4 regular BCU tech1
you must have HAC @ 5, congrats, im working on that now =P ------

im not sure, that would require me to train standard missiles to 4 to find out =(
i guess i could do the maths when i dock, i'll edit this if i bother! ------

Didn't want to cause you any bother...it's just I mission run (level 3's) in mine and found it MUCH more effective (to my mind at least) than using the heavy launchers...and I have heavies to 5, and standards to 3. ========================================= * I'm ALLOWED to cheat. no bother ive been curious too but i know for sure the DPS is way lower than using heavys.. nice vs frigates though. ------

I suppose that could be why I like it...level 3's = lots of frigates. It's the only ship I've found that can tear the arse out of a Mercenary Wingman in an acceptable amount of time. It's not TOO bad against cruisers either. I suppose what I'm saying is you have to balance the lower DPS against the fact that I get no losses from the stupid sig radius rules. ========================================= * I'm ALLOWED to cheat. Well yeah it's true heavy missiles are more on par with 650/720mm Howitzers, 250mm Rails, and Heavy Beams then they are blasters, autocannons, and pulse..
The Assault Launcher gives you decreased range, decreased damage output.. but easier fittings.. it's a lot like the old cruise missile launcher really.. there's really no reason to fit it, unless you are fighting frigates. ------
