Hey, ive been following the event(or lack of one) since the beginning, we have an office there, our whole corp is based there. We have been waiting for something to happen fo a week now, weve made some nice proits on trade runs from there, had some fun RPing with the event staff...but I was hoping this would be something more...something exiting and fun to be a part of. There has been no sign of any event actors for 3 days now, if nothing is going to happen then my corp needs to pack up and move on. I understand that if something is going to happen that you cant tell us what or when, but can you at least tell us if something WILL ACTUALLY HAPPEN? If it was just meant to be some RP fun in the news and some good trade routs then fine, but can you tell us either way, no details, just yes or no.

Something is going to happen, but I don't know what or when, so I'm just as in the dark as you are.
Guess we can only wait and see.

Did you read the post? I have been telling people to be patient for several days now, when you have sat on your ass in the system for 7 days with only a few trade runs and 5 min converstaions with the actors to keep you amused, feel free to lecture me on it, until then go away, I have been in this system from the beginning, ive put huge effort into RPing with th actros, opening convos with them, my niece playing as Mia Noir tried to take the blame for the slave trading going on inm the system so the runs would not stop, the problem is we have tyo have people in the system at all times to make sure that we hav not wasted the past week and you can only tell your members to be patient for so long before they ant to be out there doing stuff. If I let them all go ff thinking nothing will happen and then something does I would be so ****ed off with yself, but I cant force them to hang around in one system forever.

Rogue - forget this is a game, imagine that this is a galaxy - imagine that there really is a research project going on.
What would you do?
My advice is, whatever you decide, go do it.
Isn't that the essence of "Role Playing"?
Everyone wants this to be a game, it is, but it isn't meant to be!!! It is meant to be as near to reality as possible!

m0o did think about pulling a pirate attack on the facility - but scounts indidcated it was invunerable (strange for a building site), fiqured CCP would probebly send in CONCORD to defend it (7 GM battleships per frigate at least) and would then use the whole thing and call it thier event... So we thought against it

lol yes, will be more intersting when items ahev HPs, itme sthatshould ahve Hps... even if there are 100M of them
and tbh 7 BS versus a m00 frigate - given the Devs understanding of the game and where it should be going, m00 would probably still win ;)

Thank you Yaku. Its amazing isn't it, how you can ask a few questions in a resaonably nice way and yet STILL, there will always be a couple of idiots(one of them invariably m0o)will hijack the thread to slag off the devs.

Hee Hee - I have nothing but respect for the Dev's - its (some) of the GM's and (most) of the polaris that I was commenting on  . Its a pity though, I for one would love to attack that station and have it made into an event for the players. Sure m0o could convice a few other pirate corps to join us on it as well.
