It seems in cold war patch system scanner became very laggy. I only found the way to make it less laggy using overview settings, but scan probes etc are still pain in ass. Does anyone encounter same problem?

yup...
imho its also crap that the scanner and overview settings are connected to eachother at all ... whats the reasoning behind that? they have nothing to do with eachother and its a pain to have your overview filled with moons and belts 'n stuff when you're scanning.
there should be separate settings for overview and scanner -_-

You DO realise you can just uncheck the box marked "Use Overview settings"...?

The time the scanner takes seems determined by the amount of objects it finds. Taking the overview settings off would kill it.

Yep and when you uncheck that, it takes ages to scan, which was the point the original poster was making?

It was fine before the cold-war patch.
