I must commend your general train of thought Comrade Nelson...The majority of pilots in HighSec are probably not Alts or associates of the Oligarch Alliances in Zero and could IF they decided one day to form PEOPLE'S COURTS to organize "Political Action Groups" to execute certain individuals who have been identified as ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE.
It all depends upon the motivation and awakening of the peasant masses of HighSec to accomplish such a task. |

Yeah, EVE is international, but people in other countries actually DO care quite a bit about US politics. As a long-term expat, know, I've seen it, and had loads of fun telling them 'I told you so" when Bush was reelected in 2004.
TBH, I think you have it backwards, actually. Its Americans that don't give a **** about European politics. Try it. Ask your typical American about Angela Merkel, Silvio Berlusconi, or Tarja Halonen.. You'll get blank stares, because they are mostly irrelevant to us.
Now, maybe YOU personally, don't care - but my guess is that you are having a good day if you manage not to put your pants backwards. This hardly makes you representative. Unless you are from Cornwall. Then, maybe.  |
