Ok.. this day at the time i made my post.. on eve were 15121 players online ! this is a new record ! it should be celebrate.. by.. opening Jove Space for players ? :)
C`mon CCP.. tell us what`s in Jove Space.. we need somethin` new.. how can we reach`em how can we fight`em.. lets create an war.. between Jovians.. and Empire Races..

No its NOT.. there are stations there.. u can see every item in space if u check real carefull.. lots of stations..
So it must be npc.. there are the GM`s there.. :)
ISD.. Aurora.. and a few i don`t remember right now !
But not empty.. and even if its empty.. what !?

Jove space is open.
The trick is you just have to figure out how to get 1 ship with a jump drive becon fitted inside there first :D

a few members of my corp suspect that's where the Asian market may open up for various reasons, and once things settle down up there, they'll open up a few gates to empire and all chaos will break loose

lol, no doubt they're uber. Last Jovian ship I saw cruising around couldn't be scratched by a dreadnaught!  I wouldn't want to picture what they'd do to a clone once he/she was caught in their space...remember you gotta die to wake up in the clone vats...

Its not the amount of space that holds ppl off from 0.0 but the content. The solution would be making all those worthless 0.0 systems worth something by adding ore, NPCs or some of that acheology/hacking stuff.
About the jovians, well they should stay a mistery considering we just newly entered the jump drive age. Also if you ask me they will be very selective in letting ppl into their space cause of their disease thingy and xenophobic nature in general.
Tbh I would like to see Jovians getting more involved in events and politics (Wasnt it the jovians that first recognized a 0.0 alliance?) But I guess the volunteer actors quit long ago cause of being ganked by pirates in every event

The only GM system afaik is a system called 'Polaris' if you check on map it contains ISD headquarters etc..

Shortly after release there were a few people that figured out you could actually fix your clone contracts to revive your char. in jovian space. There were 20 or so I know of that went there w/ only starter frigates on fresh characters. As far as I can remember there were gallente stations in there, and after a few days most of the characters were moved out of there. As far as ore I think all the belts were empty, but that has been a couple of years ago.

Gladly - basically it has to do with money and macromining, Asian countries are famous in the MMO world for having shops pop up that employ ppl at horrible wages playing these games, and making money in them. Once said money is made, they sell it to us Westerners, but due to currency differences, they make a lot more off of it than we do (despite it being illegal, blah blah blah you know the EULA). Anywho, due to the language difference we cant communicate well, and thus they'd be allowed to grow in numbers, and skills, and w/e up there while we're on their border prepping for the inevitable day when a highway is opened up.
When this happens, first of all shock, ppl are like "SCORE!  ", and rush in from the rest of the galaxy to see what theyre up against, what the rats are like, get the honor of ganking the first Jove ship. From their PoV, new opportunities will be opened up, but having a good thousand or so Westerners invade their turf will naturally get a response from them...not to mention if CCP makes it so that the NPC empires war Jove, in which case we'll just get caught up in the crossfire!

As far as reaching the Jove Empire i have heard two rumors of how to get there:
1) You fly with the fastest set up on a minmatar frigate( this was up before ceptors were around) to the last system next to and closest to the Joves space. Emmediatelly after downtime, you set course for the closest system in Jove space running on MWD online all the time (as far as cap is allowed and and on the way creating bookmarks) This has to go on for 24 hours up until the other DT. (that is one theory of how to get there aparently)
2) this is the story with the clone center. I dont remember if that was possible, and never tried it, but apparently someone could move their clone into one of the JOVEs stations, get podded and wake up in Jove space.
This is what i have heard so far. Maybe a game master could enlighten us on these two theories, although i find them highly unprobable my self!

1. Maybe when scorps could do more than 1au/s but i doubt it vury vury much.
2. This has been mentioned lots of times, who cares, we cant get in. Lets start a new war vs the japs!

Clone Contract was the old way...
the other way was tried by some evil folks...
they made stuck petitions saying they were in a particular system in Jove space but only giving the system name and a careless ISD would move them a system over into Jove space

we do need more content in this game, some of us have been playing since the begining (although i missed beta iwas in from week 2 of release) kinda been there done that, still love the game mind you.
it goes without saying that we have something special here, otherwise we older crew wouldnt still be playing.
think of the time frame here, were only at tech 2 (arnt there supposed to be 5 tech levels?)
still aint got titans or carriers or "cough cough" tech 2 bs`s 
i just hope they do something massive with the jovians. somekinda intergallactic war either the joves versus us or something else.
to rip an idea from stargate, the joves could be avoiding us because they have there hands full with some uber alian race and are protecting us by containing it in there space but eventuall have to ask for our help. that would be cool.
have something else to fight apart from the human npcs, kinda conflict freespace vs stargate vs b5 vs eve?
just a sugestion mind you.

I beleive every so often TomB chooses and alliance to run into and harass with his Eidolon
Still, imagine if they did open jove space... there's a band of 0.0 between it and empire.

No really! The very idea frightens the GMs and the guys/gals in the server room.
The day that Jove space opens there will be mayhem on the forums as a pilot comes on and shouts "OMFG I FOUND A WAY TO JOVE SPACE!" The bush telegraph will run wild and everyone will jump into interceptors and other fast frigates. The guys reading the forums at work will call their bosses and say "I really don't feel too good here I'm afraid i'm going to have to go home sick" Mining ops will be canceled. Wars will be put on hold with promises to their enemies to "pick this battle up again later". Agent Runners will tell their agent to stick the mission.
The biggest blob the game has ever seen will appear in the systems where the stargates to Jovian space are (Germinate?) The lag will mean at least 5 minutes to cross a star system and then just as all 15.000 pilots online plus all their RL Freinds who they emailed, called and texted get to Jove space POOOFFFFFF! the entire server falls over and the GMs have 14.900 stuck petitions to deal with.
Or does anyone think everyone will be sensible and just put "go to jove space for a look around" on their list of "things to do next time i'm between Wars/Agent Missons/Mining Ops/Pirate Gank-Fests* -*delete as applicable "?

Very true, and well put - this is one of the reasons I think that the devs will fill it with the Asian players first, so they can be isolated and develop some organization among themselves like we have with the corps and alliances in the core of the galaxy. Once that's done, THEN open the gates, and you'll have two mass flows, one from empire to Jove and viceversa, hopefully countering each other out in a sweet battle ; however, one thing ur scenario forgot to mention is that many players will stay close to home during this, and merely send representitaves, namely the alliances with territory to defend or hardcore carebears, for if they leave it could be bad for their alliance/corp.

Bear in mind that there are two (or more) pockets of unexplored space.
Jove space.
Large region under Jove space, and to the right of Great Wildlands.
Polaris.
One other system, I believe just above Polaris with no jumps to other systems.
I would hazard a guess that CCP would open the second of those regions before they consider opening up Jove space.
Who knows? Maybe they are planning a 6th (5th) race to own the region?

I believe that Jove space is the future opportunity. Look at the conjecture and suppositions it generates in this thread alone! Jove space is the Ace in the sleeve for you card players out there. CCP has a vision, and though those Devs are completely silent on the Jove Issue, do you believe they aren't thinking about it? Back room conversation /start:
Tomb: Yep, they are guessing again on what and when we are gonna do with Jove space
Oveur: I know it, it's bugging them to death. Do you think they are even going to guess what we have planned?
T20(walking in): Not JOVE again. Tell you what, if you don't say anything, they'll MAKE UP our storyline for us.
Kieron: I'm sure they will, they are still spamming the forums with that stuff. Sad thing is, when we do hit them with this, some are gonna get peeved, some will love it, and some will not know what to do, and ALL of them are going to be on the forums saying JUST that(*aside* I get the feeling Kieron can be emphatic when he wants to be)
Tomb: How much more will we need to balance the final conflict?
Oveur: Not much more, but let's play this out like we discussed. First Exodus, then Cold War, then Kali with the Great war, and then, just when they are reeling, we'll........................./recording media ended.
Think about it. What is the end of many wars. The threat from outside, they aren't like us, what it will take to bring ALL POD pilots together.
My imagination, their vision, and alot of supposition. Imagine the future..

this idea that they will start a great war to keep the role playing going sounds very promising. it would be brilliant and should release content into the game very smoothly... like the gistii stuff even more uber tho and i will be there at the forfront in either my cerberus or crow most likely crow as i will want to choose my fights...

Why should there be a war? Remember that this has been tried before ( Amarr) and they lost have their fleet making their emporer to retract the war! I think we have a lot to gain from the Joves (MAYBE t2 BS!!!). great knowledge about sience and technology. Maybe they will give us the technology do discover new worlds

The Jovians sell a lot of their advanced technology equipment to the other races and it is this, more than anything else, which keeps the others at bay.

I think that the Jove should remain out of site, for now, but i think that it would be seriously kewl to spawn them every now and again, your scouting out some space and you come across a rat spawn, you get closer and realise its the Jove.
Now im talking like really rare for it to spawn but it would be kewl if it did.

I dont want asian players in EVE. Seriously. There all a bunch of cheating, macroing bastards. Im not racsist or anything but they've ruined many an MMO experience for me. Biggest problem i have with asian players is the language barrier. I dont want to see some weird symbols in local, how we meant to do business if people dont speak the standard english?
And why the hell should they get Jove all to themselves? We've been here a lot longer than them and contributed to the success of EVE. We want Jove, and we dont want to give it to a bunch of asian n00bs who are gonna macro and make **** loads of ISK and real money from it. We deserve at least that much respect.

Erm yes there is nothing there we can see... The Jove live in cloaked transdimensional shifting everything (ships ,space stations) all the time and can target you and kill you completely in one volley at huge ranges with little or no effort sitting invisible in 99% resist all dmg ships which would take a Fleet of 100 Dreadnaughts firing all weapons all day and night 3 yrs to pwnzor ... I say leave them be ... for they have their hands on our shoulders while we sit at our computers whispering subtle hints to us from the outside in the glowing plasma of our dreams....

dont think theyll put the asian's into Jove space.. its like to preasusssh..
they'll prolly put them into the south-southeast corner of the map.. big area wich cant be reached from the current avelable space.
and then what? how much time will CCP give them b4 they open "The ROAD OF CARNAGE!!"
how many do you think will travel up there to draw some asian blood, and yell all over the forums about the corpse with the funky china-man name he got or some thing like that.. it'll be like a B-day party for Snig.. with lots of n00bs to bash.
I think it'll take quite a long time to tune into the way EVE is played now, with combat strategies, ways of fleet commanding, ganking, gurillia warfare and so on.
who knows.. it'll be an interesting day.. YARRR!!
but for Jove.. time will show.. thers nothing else to say

You are racist; that was a totally racist post, and i'll leave it up to the mods to do their thing.
But I have to (unfortunately) agree as far as the language goes. I do hope there will be a language filter, because having channels flooded with non-latin characters will be most annoying.
As far as the asian gamers being introduced to the game, it's great! More targets ;)

There are some Korean and Japanese players already playing, and your accusations of macroing should be reserved on individual cases, not to a whole race of people.
