Lots of people showing interest in this on bounty channel.
2 rules :-
1. You can only use noob ship (with any fittings)
2. No podkilling unless agreed in advance.
Both players fight to the end.
Both players put up same amount of money and winner takes it all.
Spectators have to pay to watch.
Bets can be placed on players.
Locations in 0.0 space needed. I suggested perhaps mamet a location.
Player pirates please do not kill everyone there.

you might want to check that the system won't tag on a security hit before you invite everyone over.
Sounds like fun though.
If it becomes popular, you can switch to frigate battles. And that's *really* fun.

You should change it to any frigate, then we'll have people pulling out some interesting combos. Me and a friend have been thinking of ways to take out BS's with frigs. Some of the setups would work nicly 1v1 vs another frig.
You should have a whole champonship (SP?) title, and maybe get into bigger battles like 2v2, 3v3,4v4? and then maybe also just send in 5 people and have a nice FFA. If you work this out right it could get big.

Aye any frigate with any market purchasable gear would be very cool. : ) Most people can afford to blow up frigates, and omitting pirate droped mods will make the whole thing a test of skill instead of a statement of who has the best gear.

Have everyone temporarily join a dummy corp.
You can hold FIGHTCLUB in a nice central 1.0 system at a moon or planet and not have to worry about the security hit, the fuzz showing up, or the uber-newbie killers showing up.
After the mayhem, everyone can return to their respective corps.
Keep us posted, I'll go put a coat of wax on the "Velator of Doom" and brush the dust of my Kestral.

Check the map for ship kills in Korama over the last 24hrs, should say about 45 :)
We had a corp Ibis war event starting about this time last night, which was a great laugh, and certainly relieved quite a bit of stress (though didn't help in the fight against prostate cancer :( )
