Hi,
I want to do missions for an agent which requires 1.2 effective standing: Ophennes Alooctirac, Level: II, Quality: -16.
In the show info, under standings, I can see that I have 1.20 towards the faction (Gallente Federation), and 0.75 towards the corp (Astral Mining Inc.).
When I use Pappa Smurfs formula from the stickies, I get that I need 1.20 standing. Under agent info, I can also read that "You need an effective faction, corp, or personal standing of at least 1.20 to use this agent.
But I still cannot use the agent! Something doesn't make sense to me here. Could someone enlighten me on what could be the issue?

Is it exactly 1.20? The game has a nasty habit of rounding numbers, you might actually have a standing of 1.195... also, try relogging, if you haven't already, or do a few extra missions with the highest lvl1 agent

It is exactly 1.20, I have no idea how to figure out if it's rounded or not, but that sounds like a logical explanation to me.
I have access to another lvl2 agent which is -17 quality. Would it be better to use a high quality lvl1 agent, or the low quality lvl2 agent? (effective quality is -10 now with the lvl2 one I can do)

get both 0.02 over the minimum and u should be able to work the agent

0.01 over the minimum should be enough. That would make the need for 1.21 instead of the 1.20 stated (eg. you need to be over the stated amount, being at it won't give you access). I've been in that situation with one of my agents, and did a lil mission with my previous that gave me that 0.01 increase and I had access to the new one.
