Bladerunners Corporation is now recruiting new members. We are an Anti-Pirate PvP corporation with emphasis on team play. We seek mature players that want to play with likeminded people.
Brief History Bladerunners is a corporation with roots back to beta. The original CEO and founder Raven DeBlade is still with the corporation. The leadership and the kernel of the corporation consist of veterans with PvP and game experience going back to the launch of EVE. The corporation has been active in the North for a long time and has been active in several shapes of the Venal alliances.
Today, we work independently of the Northern Alliances and do not take part in the ôpoliticsö. However, we are not neutral as such. We are friends with many in the Northern part of EVE and are taking an active part in defending the area from any external threat. We are based in 0.0 and we have a self sufficient production of all the things we need for living and operating without the need of Empire presence.
Corporation Structure and Philosophy Bladerunners try to have as flat leadership structure as possible. Everyone is important and everyone has a say on what we do. We think it is important to encourage activity in corporation affairs on all levels in the corporation. Every player is a part of and have influence on corporation affairs. Our economy is run as, what we call, a Capitalistic Community. We do not have personal ships/weapons or money. We work together to acquire assets and share equal within corp. (Of course. Any player joining can keep what they have with them. But after joining, you are expected to play the way we do.) Our Contributing members then get what they need from the corporation . This of course includes all the high end tech II equipment and all most ships currently available to players.
Our corporation has always taken what we consider the ôgood fightö. We are a strict Anti-Piracy corporation, with a non-tolerance policy on Piracy and we actively hunt those who seek to do others harm for their own benefit. We believe in a mature and courteous stance towards the rest of EVE population. As a rule, we donÆt ôsmack talkö enemies or respond to ôsmack talkö from enemies. As a Bladerunner you will not fight against miners and mission runners. You will not gate camp and ôPvPö against players incapable of defending themselves. As a Bladerunner you will fight against those who do combat themselve, something we have done constantly and with good result, even against the loudest and well known PvP corporations.
The Economy Explained As a Bladerunner you give what you earn to the corporation. The corporation will then give you what you need. You will get any ship you have enough skill to pilot well and you will get any Tech II equipment or named loot you need to reach maximum effectiveness. (Save for 1.5 billion shield boosters and faction ships of course) We see assets and ISK only as necessary tools to provide and make possible the game play we want. Work is a necessary evil, one we try to limit as much as possible by having solid production and sales that gives the corporation cash. As of today, our corporation has a blueprint stock making us completely self sufficient. We have also several Tech II blueprints which stands for a substantial amount of the corporation funding

Who we are looking for We seek players who are looking for a corporation to join on a long term basis. Players who have jumped around a lot in different corporation and players who have been in pirate corporations do not need to apply. Your employment history will of course be considered and you should be prepared to answer any questions about it.
We seek players that have been in the game for a while that have mastered the basics. Prowess in combat and experience with PvP is a bonus to your application. But you donÆt need to have PvP skills, this will be taught to you by our senior pilots. We focus more on the personality of the player and that you fit in with the rest of the group and that you agree with our general philosophy.
You fully understand and agree on our shared economy. You are also a person that take pride in good teamplay and find that to be more rewarding than personal glory.
English language and the ability to communicate with voice communication is required.
Applications Send in the information below info to ôWdoMkrö (yes, that is in fact his name! ). Make sure to add a short description of yourself in your application. This is only a starter for our interviewers and more in depth questioning will follow.

I was a part of Blades for one and a half year and it was a really hard decision to leave to say the least. These are the guys all "good guys" in eve should aspire to be like, if you decide to try and join and make it in you wont regret making that choice.

I can highly recommend this corporation. When Oberon left the PA we set almost everyone to neutral, this was one of the few that we maintained at +10. Good corporations have good leaders and this corporation has some of the best.
Pity that they will have us at -10 as part of the SA, but hey that's politics.

As an alt of a member of the corp, I've long since considered joining Bladerunners myself. Perhaps this is the recruitment opportunity I've been waiting for?
