let me start by saying, i have absolutely no idea what this is worth. i am just glad the lottery gave me something.

I wouldn't say you made it too long. Lots of people get their initial bids in and then wait until its near the end - which is where the real show is. I can't say for sure, but I am pretty confident that the latest bid wont be the last in the auction.
