Tried the demo yesterday.
took me 5 hours of trying to finally get it to work past the login screen, to be able to enable the "create character" option. the design ethos quickly made me wish I'd remained stuck at login...
Finally blinked into existance in a forest glade, looking lost and with no clue, tutorials were a joke, no players around to give advice, no roleplaying to be seen on a "RP" server, user interface that was a joke, graphics that made me want to cringe, cliche'd fantasy names galore, in all, dire.
First impressions count, and after 6 hours, I'd had enough bad impressions to uninstall and never even think about trying it again.
4 million people can be wrong.
I shall now use a flail and chastise myself for my sins of thinking "it can't be as bad as peole say, surely?"
*hangs head in shame*
the only redeeming factor was the ability to sit down by a pond and watch the world pass by

i would NEVER play WOW it would be a complete waste of time

They don't patch crap every Tuesday, but the do have at least 8 hours of dt every Tuesday.

Reached level 60 with a horde troll hunter on a server where there was 5x as many alliance as horde. Lost an item I REALLY wanted to some random guy in our raid party. Keep in mind, this was the first time something in this instance dropped that I could actually use in the last 50 runs. Some guy who will never use it took it. I realised how many hours I had wasted and getting nothing in return. Started playing EvE, canceled WoW account and NEVER looked back.

I donĘt play games that have cows with swords in their hoofs running around on two hind legs like a human.
Hay look it a cow man. Do they have any gold or should I just milk it? Do I get XP for each gallon of milk I squeeze out of the human wannabe cow?
Is that the RP non PvP server or the RP PvP only on for 2 hours servers or the everybody is level 60 server orą
I couldn't find a picture of the cow person right now, but what the hell is this!!!??? ??????? WoW is a goofy cartoon game for kid minds, OK????!!!
