Simple idea really add the ability to create folders in PC Hangars and Corp Hangars at stations with the ability to rename them. This way players can easily place weapons in one folder and ammo in one or minerals and so on.
Corp hangar folders could be passworded or restricted so only people who have access can use them

ummm, doesnt this exist already?
what needs to happen is tabs for the personal hangers. I hate picking through crap i do/don't want to refine...

This seems to be a popular idea...good thing I searched before starting another post. There seems to be a lot of threads asking for folders in the hangers.
I'd like to have folders not only in the hangers but also in the cargo holds. Allready you can organize your drone bay in hangers why not the cargo bay and hangers?

Freighter pilots would probably love that. Those freight containers are only so effective. If you're carrying a lot of individual groupings of items for a lot of different people, it becomes a problem.

Not just freighter pilots...but I'm sure they will be the most impacted. My industrial I use for transporting stuff around I can sort using cargo containers to a point but the largest one doesn't fit in a Badger and the next smaller one doesn't have enough space for my torps and cruise missiles.
How do we know if this idea has been seen and is or is not being considered? Do the devs every reply to these threads?

I agree, folders like those in the market or people and places are a necessity in the personnal hangar.
And could we have them also in the market quickbar?
I'd like to see default 'bins'/divisions in the personnal hangar: minerals, modules, ammo, trade goods, other.
Just for the Personnal and Corp hangars.
When you'd unfit a ship or empty some cargo to personnal hangar, everything would go into the appropriate hangar division. *joy!*
And then add the possibility of creating folders in those personnal divisions.
Also, please please please have filtering options for the modules division hangar like:
- show all/high/med/low
- show only can fit current ship (with its remaining grid/cpu, checkbox)
- show armor/hull/propulsion/shield/turret/etc only
Have these as checkable drop-down menus (one for each of the above points) on the personnal hangar's toolbar.
And don't give me another damn right-click menu, I'm developping carpel-tunnel syndrone because of all that right-clicking!
The time I lose searching for modules through corp and personnal hangar is insane, these hangar division and filters would actually give more time to PLAY EvE, instead of wasting time searching for stuff...
I don't believe it would be hard to implement/code either...
Comments anyone?
