Hardly. We want to be open about our relationship and our feelings about eachother and the signature is a way for us to do that. I have no issues usually with people modifying my signatures (like the Bold) as frankly its flattering. However this is a signature of a far more personal nature and the replacing of one individual (me) for the modifiers avatar is taking it too far. However Khaerie did not rant or profess to be a martyr. Simply asked for him to consider removing it regarding the circumstances. A fair request.

Its not big and its not clever. It was done meerly for flaming purposes and openly mocks something he has nothing to do with. That is why we have a problem with it.

If I didn't think that you were making that up I'd say that it was good business. In 0.0, five mil weekly isn't that difficult. Force out the dead weight with a pay-as-you-go plan while packing the isk back for Alliance defense.

No doubt you're trying to mock, stir up trouble, or raise suspicions. Too bad that I'm telling the public that, when allied or KOS, I've always known where I stand with MASS and trust them, implicitly, to stick to their policies, whatever they may be. No doubt this holds true for the SA entity for outsiders and double probably for alliance members.

With that said, get off of their land, share-cropper.

As a side note, I may not be (after other of my recent posts) be on good terms with khaerie (sorry, too lazy to check spelling) and I don't know Boofer but, even if you feel that someone putting their real life relationship in a sig is in poor taste, it is incredibly poor taste to mock that in a sig of your own. Even though we play toons in a game reality for fun, you have to remember.....if we met these people on the street, how would we interact? No matter how you feel about someone, no matter how ruthless you want to portray yourself in game, there are some places that you just don't go. It's my opinion that the sig/real life love thing is one of those places.

I had a heart attack when a mass member jumped from DSS into 3GD and a FIX member told him to return to SA space.

The mass member was clueless as he wanted to go to empire and thought UH how?

As for the argument over the sig...I believe proclaiming a real life relationship in such a way is as foolish as posting your private email address on public forums.

Conversly, the person insulting/parodying the relationship is just as much in the wrong as a person who would abuse someones private email address malignantly.

As such (as is so often the case in internet forum disputes) both parties are in the wrong in unique ways.
