Hi, can somebody tell me the maximum Range I can effective fight with heavy missiles?
And can I use cruise missiles on a cruiser,maybe on a BB?

heavy missiles, any missiles on cruiser = caracal
heavy missiles, with heavy to 3, and projection\bombardment to 3, along with cruiser to 3
should give u around 78-80km, its what my caracal has, my ferox on the other hand has 58km range with missiles due to my skills.
missiles are all about the skills now, not equipment.
its simple, just get ur missile flight time and mulitply with speed. take off 3km and ugot ur range on ur current ship.

I don't count the heavy missile flight time.. I just watch what km it hits.. Like now with my skills in ferox to 64km..
But ur advice is better tho

and a cruiser can take launchers for Cruise missiles too?

I can fit a cruiser launcher on my ferox.
Admittedly I can't fit much anything else on it, just 1 cruise launcher.

I haven't actually tried putting it on my Ferox, but I have enough grid todo it.
For anyone interested, you could try:
Hi: 1 Cruise Launcher (Arbalest if possible)
Med: Medium Shield Booster, Warp Scrambler (or 2), Webby (or 2)
Low: 1 RCU, 3x BCU
(You'll need to drop a scrambler or a webby as the above setup is .2mw short with everything  )
I call it, Battleship Suprise :)

In my Ferox with all missles skills to lvl 4. I can hit out to about 67km. Pretty much what I've noticed is that maxing your skills allows you to pretty much shoot at your maximum effective range. Tested it on my Raven also and I can just about hit with cruise missles at my max range. Keep in my this is all skills and ship bonuses. No extra mods whatsoever.

I don't have advance weapon upgrades. Just Engineering lvl5 and an RCU give you enough power. The Ferox's base powergrid is 925mw, so it doesn't take much to get it to 1250mw.
