Could we please be able to Auto Pilot all the way into the space stations?
I want to go make a sandwitch and come back to my ship in the station, not still hanging out in the edge of the system by the jumpgate.

Many unfortunate people have discovered that this has already been implemented in 0.0; they go AFK to do something and show up in a station when they come back. Unfortunately the ship is missing :( Bug?

I wouldn't mind this, especially when u buy something off the market and I have to go through me big assets list to find what i've bought at wich station. But I find the autopilot on itself enough luxury to go afk when possible. Next step would be picking up the item you've bought and bring it back to your base... No more AFK playing needed imo.
so narr...

nah it's a game so play it instead of going afk...just that feature that you can turn on autopilot all the way to a solarsystem is a luxury not included in many MMOs.

Kind of but one was asking CCP about it and this one is asking the players.
I am not comenting in the other one.
It strikes me funny that we can Auto pilot to a system edge but not into the base.
Either way is fine no big deal to me realy, it just seems natural that you would go all the way since you chase set destination to the base and not the system.

Maybe it is EVE's way to get us to see the outside of stations?

Maybe you could logon and sit in station and isk in wallet increases....or maybe guns could auto fire back, or if armor/hull gets below 50% ship warps out, or if ship explodes pod immediately warps to a safespot, or.....
Na...bad idea dude.

true, but then again most mmo's don't require you to find the shortest way (or safest) through a graph consisting of 5000 nodes...
still, AP is fine the way it is

Ahh, you little kids! You were not here in the old days, when autopilot were science-fiction! Spoiled little brats!
BTW, I liked the idea

You are correct, it is a game. However, a game shouldn't be a chore nor a hassel. If you can streamline a game into making certain tedious and minor events automated (togglable of course) then you can allow the players to enjoy the other aspects of the game without the constant "grrr" in the back of their minds, clouding the fun.
It's minor right now, but things add up. I agree with this idea. --------------
