First of all paying for a game you already payd for in the store ? Next is it all that ??? Is the game freelancer not a bit better. Are some of you not asking youreselfs why the hell didn't ESCHATON come out sooner. So i wouldn't even think of buying this game. I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD PAYING FOR A GAME SO I CAN PLAY IT ????????????????????????? And i can't even play it because of all the ****ty problems. When i payd allot of money for the best system there is to buy at the moment. Did you people know you had to pay for it to play ???? Putting it on the back with the most smallest letters you can think of. I can't even control my ship like in other games. Tomorrow i'm gonna return the game and i want my money back. MAKERS OF EVE-ONLINE YOU PEOPLE SUCK IN MAKING GAMES. NEVER EVER HAVE I BEEN SO MAD ABOUT A STUPID COMPUTER GAME

Edited by: Abigail on 28/07/2003 23:39:08 Sorry.. but personaly I love the game. But I do understand it isnt for everyone.
I have been playing it since beta. BTW there are MANY games out there you have to pay monthly. Its not like it the first.
Yes Freelancer is a nice game.. but you know what .. it isnt a multiplayer game.
Sorry you feel this way man.. best of luck with whatever you play next.

I was addicted to freelancer too and thought it was a great game, especially online.
When I bought Eve I couldnt get my head round it and it took me a couple of days to get into it.
I have since realised that Eve completely wipes the floor with Freelancer. I dont mind paying monthly for such a great game.

Judging from the reaction of some gamers Eve does not work equally well on all systems.
Hardly news on the PC market with the endless system configs around. It's still a pain o develop for this platform compared to the game boxes.
I myself always seek out "standard" computer hardware from the main vendors on the market. This maximizes the chance that the developer has tested the software on a config similar to my own.
I have had no noticeable problems with Eve - ran pretty ok even in the last phases of the Beta. Makes me a bad beta tester but a happy gamer I guess.

Unkown (unknown?) you act like MMORPG's just hit the shelves yesterday. You have to pay to play ALL of them (well, the good one's anyway)! Where do you think they get the money to keep the servers running and pay the devs and bandwidth costs and a whole slew of other things we probably never even think about? 12.95 monthly isn't a bad price at all for the enjoyment I get from Eve. I blow a hell of a lot more than that just going out ONE FRIDAY NIGHT! Come to think of it I blow more than that a week on soda alone! I just don't get the whole "WAHHH!! I have to pay money to have fun? ACK!" mindset. If it were $50 a month I could understand your logic but 12.95? Jeez grow up and get a job! Absolutely one of the most stupid posts on these forums to date. ........ There is a fine line between gate camping and just standing by a gate, looking like an idiot... |

Edited by: Loupdinour on 29/07/2003 18:07:09 Money doesn't seem to be an issue with you if you did in fact get the top of the line pc out there.
As for the problem of the game not running on your "super system", some setups don't seem to work on games if the dev team tweaks it the wrong way. for a good month or so, EQ was unavailable for many people due to an issue w/ a certain group of processors.
As the last person said about the dumbest post ever....i'm glad i wont be seeing/hearing you in game since your going to ATTEMPT to get your money back. I highly doubt they will since that cd key is an account key, you dont need that cd to play the game once you get that little number/letter combo on the case and its installed.
For my ancient pc (p3 600), Eve runs great and I love it. Just cuz your a 'tard and cant understand anything past solitare doesnt mean the game sucks, so sit down and stfu.
Thank you, have a nice day
