I just started playing - only to get stuck in the tutorial....
It started alright but after I jettison the ore, nothing happens ... and I can't continue the tutorial. WHat is that all about???

I see that other ppl that are starting are having big problems with the tutorial...
I take it that new ppl are pretty much not welcomed into this game... Or at least the GM's dosen't seem to be fixing that...
So is this what I am getting for my money?
It's not like it is a free download version of a game!!!!

This happened to me. I had to figure out how to fly to the station. then it kicked in again. and ran through some more ...
Now I feel like I've missed something.

Hi all,i just got this game myself,and i am stuck in the tutorial as well.I closed the tutorial box,and now i am looking around trying to figure out what to do next.Can anyone help,and point me in the right direction?
Btw,a real manual would have been a nice addition to this game

Me too, rather irritating when the tutorial is bugged. Especially since it's the only real way of learning the basics of the game. Is it a problem for characters/starting ship type of all races? If not it might be worth starting a character of another race just to get through the tutorial. My character is mimiatar(sp?).

Seems to affect all races, also think required system specs and an emphasis on subscription costs would have been a good idea to have on the box.

Ok.......
I was fortunate enough to have a player help me out ingame for this problem 
When you get to the scoop the drone part,just close out the tutorial box.
Now,look to your upper left next to your char portrait,and you will see a small white square (which is like four little lines)click on that,and choose station,then warp to.
When you get to the station,choose dock.
The tutorial will pick up from there.
As a side note,i found that i got more help from the folks in the recruitment channel,than in the help channel.

I just startet playing last night and also got stuck in the tutorial. Luckely some helpfull peeps on the local chat helped me out with all the noob questions.
Untill now I have found the comunity of EVE to be extremely helpfull and patient.
I am a veteran og MMRPGS so I guees I have a bit of an advantage, in a game that can very easily scare people off with its non working tutorial in a very complicatet game.
