I think it was an excellent idea
There is always bigger and better corps that can mine with bigger and more ships. Their point was not to brag.
I think what they did was good. And it probably got a couple of new players interested in the game and joining their corp.
When was the last time you guys helped a n00b?

It is good they did this, but you gotta admit they got the sales routine down pat. Hey Greg tell em what system it's in? Haha well alright Bob..*cue game show music* Did the Sklar brothers decide to play Eve?
All I was waiting for was one of them to go "chopper four!!"

I help noobs whenever i can, if you check me up in the game and i have a spare ship you can be pretty sure that i will just give it to you, i have given a Navitas and a dual diode mining laser away to noobs so far

Well, boys and girls. Just join CAS (whoops you can't unless you start  ) and get into one of our many gang mining expeditions.
Usually a nice group of experienced miners and new players working together. Last time we didn't even have someone with enough Leadership to make the gang that was mining .
You don't have to be in some big bad corp to get organized.
Just because we are paranoid, doesn't mean you're not out to get us. |

I agree that its nice to do this sort of thing but the thing that annoyed me was the game show/sales man routine!
I've done lots of nice things, quite often i jsut donate 100k or so to someone out of the blue if im in such a system, or i help them mine.
