Wow, this video is really gold for marketing Eve's image to new players.
CCP have always been a very modern, forward thinking, and down right hip company... And with a video like this it just reaffirms it.
Good work.

Watching it again it makes me reflect how hypnotic the regular eve music is, puts you right to sleep! why cant we have controlable awesome music like this in game to listen to in the jukebox?
Besides most of the people running complexes eighter have music off or teamspeak on.

Edited by: ElricUK on 16/09/2005 01:09:34 Well I think that the guy could have chosen better material for his film. What he did use, he used and edited well but overall the film is a bit dull. Over long pans of stations etc just aint very exciting... just my opinion of course.

I'm reasonably sure that they are drone domis found in lowsec drone complexes.

They are Rogue Drone battleships.
Careful if you meet one, they're no pushover.

that was great!
very well done, maybe a little bit more can be added for sigle combat, and big fleet action (though it would be hard to get the smoothness of it on the vid :( )
I almost couldnĘt believe it was taken from in game ;)

That video is world-class.
I love the way he has made the music fit the visuals perfectly. The bit where the ships emerge at the start with their names on is brilliant. Junkie XL soundtrack is excellent and perfect for the mood.

I actually love the music in game. Space is boring most of the time and very tranquil. The music fits very well.
On the subject of the video: It was very good, possibly the best EVE in game footage one I've ever seen. CCP really has to use this as a promotional tool.

Edited by: Drutort on 16/09/2005 05:43:51 seeing this vid, it just hit me how cool it would be to have an auto button for gang leader, that would do automatic "look at" of each gang members, kind of like a visual confirmation, maybe with some kind of animation and flashing...
would be cool to have in gang tags... and if leader or other sub commanders callout, everyone sees in gang that person with some kind of visual cue so to speak, this is for friendly not the tag option.
also if a gang member is not in approach range but in warp range. The gang leader or other appointed member would get some kind of flash/animation, with like arrow/line being drawn on the tactical view relative to the cueing personĘs ship, of course cycling through each person and not all at once, this would help so much to have a "sense" of were the members are at in real time for strategic purposes. Visual cues are at times much better then voice confirmations, spending time on TS I know how bad it can be, with something like this its far more efficient.
