Seriously, if you're out there in an Ibis and you're not an alliance corp, you're up to no good, and you're quite likely potentially able to dock and jump into a cruiser or battleship within a couple minutes. Podding you sends you 25+ jumps away to empire space, and removes your potential ability to assist our enemies for at least an hour.
The odds of anybody flying an Ibis around Venal actually being a noob who only has an Ibis are so low that the possibility isn't worth considering and it's best for our security to just pod Ibis intruders on sight.

The essence of most jokes is humour.

Just to come out of the woodwork for a second, I have this to say:
The Gang has never been, nor ever will be, a front company for anyone. In fact, TTI was one of our first successful "Donors" when we were noobs working in Isikano (Rix, cooperating with someone else jacked an Indy w/12m in cargo). We have always gone our own way, in Eve as well as other games. This, as Setec said, is a post by a made up character for the simple reason of giving 'bad' PR to TTI as well as attempting to defame The Gang and SI. Of course, when you're pirates, any PR is good PR.
