Goons like to identify with the IIIrd Reich ("GoonWaffe" and also the uniforms of certain goons like Andski and others).
Goons like to identify with islamic terrorism (Jihad, Osama bin Laden in a recent Mittani post)
Mitanni likes to compare himself to Stalin (same post as above).
Ok, this is a game. But there is a limit. Once it is crossed, it just becomes distasetful.
Look at this quote, for example:

I don't like or dislike the goons but honestly do you really think that when people say these things that it's a personal attack on those who died, no. Lighten up, people like you are those that give groups like the anti-defamation league it's power.

No, you don't understand. If they can offend, upset or anger you then it is an overglorified act of victory to them.
See... going over the line internet woo-ha is how some nerds get their whoopies. It makes goons look into themselves and find a smirk, a bright period of reckoning resembling the contrast they feel in their day to day lives.
This kind of joy is cultivated through years of scarce social interaction.

References to negative historical events is a good thing. It makes reading more fun, makes interesting parallels and gives us tears of over-sensitive people like you.

What does that mean.
The Lnaguage itself has a very limited amount of words ~ 300k
New Words and new Word meanings are created by combination of already existing words.
It is possible to concat nouns in an endless amount to create new substantives.
This does not mean that a single word has a negative meaning. Maybe a certain combination of nouns / vovels has a terrible negative touch but the base nouns do not have one.
Donau-Dampf-schifffahrts-kapit+ñns-m++tzen-Abzeichen-Farbe...............
So Please, do not try to interpret the usage of a german noun without the knowledge of this language. |

Heh. Of course, even if it were an american company, they could ban you from talking about whatever they felt like, all without infringing any rights. First Amendment rights, in regards to free speech, are between the Government and the People. Not the People and other people (or corporations. which are people in your country. Odd, I know.).
Too many people seem to think that the first amendment means they can say whatever they want, whereever they want, and no-one can tell them to shut up. The answer to that is BZZZT, try again. |

While i dont find their deaths funny and neither do most people here, your over-blown reaction to something said in jest IS funny. It's funny because you had no issue with it until everyone else started their own "i hate goons" thread.
