Edited by: Calio on 17/09/2005 16:14:05 Hi,
Just got the first of these for the first time and I have a few questions.
1) Are these important missions that affect faction standing (there is no mention in the mission description of it affecting standing)? If so, do you get an increase after each one, or only after the 10th?
2) Do the missions generate decent loot or rewards? The first one, is just cash as reward and bonus.
The reason I'm asking all this is that at my current faction standing of 9.28 I lose a helluva lot more standing with gallente than I gain with caldari at this point. And unless there are serious goodies to be gotten from this series, I would probably be better of declining if it affects my standing.

I'm not sure if you get faction increase for each part but I do know that it tells you that you will get an increase for completing the 10th part.
As far as loot/rewards, it's really not that great until the last part.
I did pick up a named seige launcher on one fo the earlier parts, and the 10th part generally has a 5% hardwire implant for bonus and a +3 implant in the loot.
Check out other posts to see how to do the 10th part.

only faction standing increase from the 10th.
the reward from the 10th is a +5% implant (very valuable), and it usually drops a +3 implant as loot
one of the other missions (7 i think) has an envoy in a BS - if u kill him, he drops nice loot - i have got a named siege, and a corpmate got a +4int implant
so yes, its profitable

Got nothing in particular from the envoy (I feel cheated), but yes, quite profitable series, and good fun too!
Highly advisable to get a couple of mates together for the final mission though so you can go for Plan B - Kill Everything That Moves. Some sweet bounties on those battleships.

Got the same as Hippo. 5% hardwire for 10th mission and a +3 implant as drop. Also got a +4 implant from the Envoy. -----------------------------------------------

Plan B is the only way to go if you can do it. There are 7 1.15 mil APOCs to kill, plus 3 700k Gedons. They have a variety of escorts which aren't worth mentioning really. They do not have warp scramblers at this point so retreat is always an option.
As long as you stay outside 60k, the only damage the BS's do is kinetic from their cruise missiles. Once they are inside 60k, they begin to eat your lunch with lasers.
It's very doable solo with a good skill set.
