I get this too and slo my corp and allaince chat don't load.

Same.
Clearing my Cache fixed it though. But only if i deleted the Settings ahd prefs.ini aswell. Yay for losing all my BM folders again.

Well we took a gang of 25 up to Pure Blind and ran into 60-70 locals and the node went ****!
Kinda sucks because we were about to warp in and pwn all of them 
(or maybe not!)

ok then I'm not the only one... I've had problems the whole week long, so I thought it was my connection or client which was gone wrong... this evening, reinstalled EVE twice, switched settings backups folders, thought about going into a psychiatric asyleum for the night and so on
OK, same problem here. a lot of popups "server node dead blahblah", no chan but the local one unreachable, no convo possible; relogged, chans are there, but all settings reset, relogged, all settings but no chan, and so on.
I've been unable to play this game for the week (ok one evening in the week, but that's pretty little, I'm addicted), whole time trying to sort such things out, to get settings working and so on. I'm not used to whine publicly normally, but I can't reach my corp chan to whine in there as usual, so :  BWWAAAAH please sort this out, BWAAWAAH, it's getting unbelievably odd and unbearable to lose my time like that, BAwAHHAAAWAAAH .

I just had this problem. Clearing the Tranquility folder and restarting worked for me. I don't know whether it was emptying the cache or restarting that did it but chat works now.

This only goes to show how vulnerable our communications system is dependant on Concord. What assurances can concord give us that network status will go uninterrupted, perhaps concord should cease coupling all communications to their central node and instead explore a peer to peer option?

Something is definately wrong when you don't get corp chat. You can't close corp chat.
I am logged on now and there is no corp chat.

That was my first course of action. but delete, hell no, backed em up, Rebooted eve, worked perfect, replaced them, still worked perfect.

This is rather pants.
Seems to be affecting only one of my characters, the one that I actually want to use.
Not doing it in Verge Vendor, but it is doing it in Domain.
Relogging hasn't fixed it. I even tried the PC support "answer to everything" - "turn it off and turn it back on again" and this didnt work either - must be a really serious problem.
There is no way on earth I am losing all my BM folders

It seems to be a problem with the settings folder in your cache folder .. delete it and it probably works again, but losing all my bm folders would be kind of devastating for me so its not a viable option. -.-
