Can I hunt with Raven in 0.0? and if so, what in plain english do I equip the Raven with=?
PS: and when I mean plain english, I mean complete words. Not AS, I.e, and other junk.

Yes.
I'm just using my regular lvl4 running setup but swapping out a hardener for an AB (as collecting loot is a real pain otherwise).
6 Cruise
3 Hardeners
1 XLarge Shield Booster
1 100mn AB
1 Shield Boost Amp
4 PDU II
1 BCU

quoted for truth - but add a pair of nos in case of ambush by smaller ships
i'd use 2 BCU and 3 PDUs personally

If the rats you are hunting are Guristas, don't go Raven.
Take an Eagle with blasters and if you can fly Gallente, Deimos (way way much better than the Eagle and way better than a Raven).
Kills faster, collects loot faster, more free cargo space, less expensive ammo, less logistical hassle, better tank, safer to move around in hostile space, more fun... well, another world.

but don't I need webbifiers to slow down frigates? and warp stab in case of PvP so I can escape?

Ok really, who suggest a HAC here for someone who's not even sure if a BS can work in 0.0. Just help the guy out with what he asked for.
Go with the first setup if you can, it'll do just fine. Fit 2 med nos unless you can fit large for some added cap. Torps will tear up the BS and drones can kill the cruisers/frigates for you.
If you can't fit PDU 2s, work from long range with Cruise missles which will also hit cruisers better. Sub the XL booster for a Large T2 and lose the shield boost amp in place of a cap battery or cap recharger t2.
Idealy, you'll kill everything but interceptors before it gets in their range and won't have to worry about tanking/cap as much.

You surely can. My corpmates use Ravens in 0.0 NPCing and are effectively engaging different sorts of spawnes. From what I heard, you'll need 4 hardeners II (NPC specific) and a combination of torp and cruise launchers. Heavy drone pack will also help.

Raven is a good ship for hunting stuff in 0.0.
The setup I run involves filling the lowslots with tech 2 power diagnostic systems'. Then put on an xl shield booster of the best quality you can, a boost amp and 4 hardeners, matched to the damage of the rats you're fighting. Incidently, when fighting Angels I've found that putting 1 of each (yes, including explosive) on works very well as different angel rats do different damage types (with a main focus on explosive, then kinetic).
Then let your skills decide what launchers to fit. If you can, pack on torps and the biggest nos you can. use the torps to kill the bs's and let your drones kill everything else. If you can't fit seige launchers, go for cruise launchers. They're better against cruisers and (by a small amount) frigs but worse against battleships.
Also, torps aren't completely useless against cruisers and frigates. They can help your drones finish them off faster when all the battleships are dead (if you can spare the ammo) and I've also seen a single volley instagank cruisers, although I'm not sure if this is a bug or because the cruisers weren't moving when the torps hit.
The only real problem with using a raven to hunt in 0.0 with is that ammo takes up a LOT of room. Also, since the missile changes, flyin one properly takes a lot more skills than it used to. Put the training time in though and you'll find it's worth it as you can end up with a VERY versatile and dangerously unpredictable ship.

As many Ballistic Control Units as you can fit, Power Diagnostics in the rest.
Warp in at 100k, turn around, activate afterburner, launch torps at battleships, webify and shoot/drone any pesky frigates.
But bear in mind the Raven is a logistical nightmare due to the cargo requirements of torps. I'd recommend you find a nice, quiet system, put up giant secures at a moon or something and fill them with torps. Whenever you need more torps, or need to drop off loot, just fly to the giant secures and drop it off there. Every now and then, take an industrial out there to restock them with torps and fetch any loot.

It may take some more training time these days, but it's still the least skill intensive battleship to NPC in imo. While you can NPC in an Apoc with roughly the same amount of SPs, they offer two different ways of NPCing, one focusing on a sustainable tank and the other relying more on killing whatever you're fighting before it kills you. I find the Raven better suited for 0.0 NPCing simply because of the ease at which it takes down battleships.

Deals a lot of dmg and takes a massive beating.

I hunt gurristas in a raven all the time. Dont know about your fitting skills, but this fits for me. All stock.
6x siege. 1x L Smart Bomb. 1x L Nosfer
3x hardeners, 1x L tech II shield boost. 1x shield amp. 1x cap recharger
1x BCU. Rest PDU
4x large drones, 4x medium drones
Warp in at 15. Wait for ceptors to get to you. Bomb them. Turn off bomb. Release drones to kill cruisers. Torp the BS.
Have yet to see a spawn that I could not take. Ever. Angels are harder, I know that.

Not for much longer if all the anti-caldari players get their way. A lot of people seem to think the raven should be useless for some reason.
