Happy Birthday To Us!

Suddenly Spaceships. alliance is 1 today! Happy birthday to Suddenly and thank you to everyone who has either flown with, been shot by or scammed by a member of Suddenly Spaceships. It's been hell of a ride so far and I look forward to the next year to come!

For those who do not know us, we are primarily a Lowsec PvP alliance, comprised at the moment of just 3 corporations. They are: URIEL, OOCK and the executor corp, P5YCH. We have all been around in EVE for many, many years and it's nice to finally put this post up after a hugely successful year for this alliance.

We started off in Curse, basing out of Utopia. It was a fantastic home for us at the time and really helped us to build our reputation for the love of cynos, black ops and other scary stuff. We became so good at it that people came from many different corporations and alliances to join us, and what fun we had.

We became quite large fairly quickly, and decided to move to lowsec. We moved to Covryn in Placid, and what a move that was. Suddenly Spaceships. became well known for its armour T3 / guardian fleets, and unfortunately this means that very few people would actually engage us. Unfortunately, after a few months of flying together, there was a lot of dramalama that caused the alliance to split a little, but hey you already know how it went because I'm posting this.

After the alliance split a little, we took a little roadtrip back to Curse, as it was home. It didn't go so well this time but hey, it got people back online, and it got us hungry for more PvP. So now, we have ended up back home in lowsec. Currently residing in Black Rise, watching all the little FW frigates fly around as we throw our multi-billion isk ships in to fights that sometimes, just seem silly!

During all this time, we had time to participate in both Alliance Tournament X, and the New Eden Open. We did very well in the Alliance Tournament, not as well as we'd hoped, but we definitely put on an interesting show. (Suddenly ATX) The New Eden Open however was an entirely different story. We demonstrated our love for trying new things and changing the meta, and took a very well earned 3rd place in the tournament against HYDRA/Darkside for our final fight, and what a show it was too!
