If you could please take a moment out of your time to take this survey, or if you know someone who would be interested in participating please pass it along! Below is the general advert and link for the completely anonymous online survey. Thank you in advance if you take the survey or pass it along to anyone you know! Lisento Slaven * An online study regarding massive multiplayer online games (MMOGÇÖs) and behavior is looking for participants. If you are at least 18 years old, currently living within the United States and have played an MMO within the last three months then you are eligible to participate. This study is investigating the relationship between playing MMOGÇÖs and behavior as well as between motivations for playing MMOGÇÖs and behavior. Your participation will help the scientific community acquire necessary research on electronic gaming. If you know people who may fit the criteria and may be interested in participating in this survey, you are welcome and encouraged to provide them with this information and web link. I usually won't bother people with what is on my mind (and there is no guarantee it has anything to do with what is on theirs). but on forums, discussions are designated by topics. I like the organized conversation of forums better than real-time irl convos. EDM? you mean EFM \| what did you just call me?

I like the organized conversation of forums better than real-time irl convos. maybe this is why i text so much. i've been guilty of ignoring a friends phone call and then immediately texting them back with some random excuse and "need something?" plus, in real life conversations, if you mishear something...you can't just scroll the conversation back up to confirm your ears. lol

For the purpose of this project I limited the population to US residents (not necessarily citizens). I realize this leaves out a lot of people on EVE and I apologize for that! Maybe in the future I will have the opportunity to do a followup for other areas :)

Well, good luck. I have to call shenanigans on the whole video game/violence link thing. I'm 42 and been around computers since I was 12. My first computer was a C-64 and I used to play all kinds of games in middle and high school. I still play all kinds of games either by myself, or with my daughter. I just make sure to monitor what she plays and for how long as she has other responsibilities like homework, school, and chores. I'm in no way a confrontational or violent person. I never go looking for a fight, but I will defend myself or my family if need be. I much prefer trying to talk and figuring out a solution to avoid a fight. I have been called stubborn and out spoken by my boss. I'm like that because I refuse to do anything that I know to be a safety violation, unethical, or possibly illegal. He likes to intimate people into doing things they should not do by either using his size or saying someone else would do it, so should you. I've find that just by "sticking to my guns" he'll back down. Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.
