I am astounded that a departure thread of an EVE figure of significance got a lock considering there were no flames. I don't get it.

Yeah locking that thread was a lazy way of modding, totally uncalled for and you wonder why we complain about the modding in this forum sometimes.
Please unlock it and move it.

Mine was actually about Corporations and Alliances, which is not allowed you see.
Ive written a mail to CCP about this, copied to the moderators, but I know for a fact they will just kick me in the teeth like they always do.
I wrote a history of m0o, Sinister Shinra CA and The .5., and it gets not only locked for being "offtopic" (how exactly??) but also editted out because it was SOOOO offensive that Abdalion couldnt leave it in place.
Also note that they have deleted my char sale thread which broke 0 forum rules.
Thanks mods. You help me not regret leaving.

Never really thought I'd expect myself in defense of Lallante  , but the manner in which that thread was closed was absolutely idiotic and I'm in agreement with the preceeding posts.

Yup, makes no sense really :/ maybe you could put copy of that in the Eve History thread in the library section? I mean, content-wise it'd fit all other posts in there down to a t...

If they editted out my sale thread in the market forum I think they can manage that one too.

hmm, yeah i'd have liked to have read his post.
He definetly was/is a "Character of note" in Eve.
Is your "good-bye" available else where that we may read it.
Course im only a "muppet" and i dont matter much to the Greater "EvE", but still interested in your point of view..... shame i dont know what it is tho
