I thought of Eve-Files, but I don't think I can replace the previously uploaded file with a new version... and I'd like to make sure people can only download the latest one.
Ombey go hereand register your corp name and you can add/delete files as you wish. You will have a username and pw and something lieka filemanager window. You will have a link of something like http://www.eve-files.com/media/corp/UKCorp/Eve_regions.pdf

Care to share what tools you have used? I tried looking into something like it at one point, but couldn't find a tool that would make it just a little bit easier than paint.exe.

Just Visio, EveMap and Asgard's Complex webpage. And lots of time and elbow grease, lol
Have uploaded to EveFiles now: New home (223k)

Are these drawn to approximate the shape of each region in the in-game map? It seems to me that you could take liberties with this arrangement and get much more comfortable-looking diagrams for certain regions...

They start off in the same shape as the flattened map in Eve Map, but then it starts going out of kilter!
I try and avoid making lines cross and having to "jump" each other. With some regions, this can't be avoided, and on others, it's usually far too late (and too complicated) to move everything around to avoid a crossed line at the latter stages of the map.
I wanted functional as opposed to comfortable

Beautifull maps! What will we have to do to make you create maps of the important regions in and around the Amarr Empire?
