Maybe they can't afford to subscribe to more than one mmorpg and buy recreational drugs therefore find the loss of gameplay a bit more bothersome

hmm... take ages to log in and when I get in it takes even more time doing anything. imposble to do anything when it takes about 1-2min to undock and ****. I have cleand out buddy list. and catch.
And just to make sure I logged in with the other chars on my acount and they did fine. not a single sign of anything.
Anyone know what to do? it's anoying as fuc*

Lag was unreal in The Citadel, wasnt too bad in Jita in the forge which is really weird?
I logged and cant log back in now...

Oh my god, the lag is so bad in essence (attulle/Allebin Area) atm It's unbearable....  takes the ship about 10 seconds to respont to any command, so belthunting/mission running is out of the question |

Terrible lag. Logging in takes 2 minutes. This is my second day of EVE. BAD START!!! Too bad paid the first month already :-(

just lost 3 drones because of lag. made few bucks instead of millions on that mining trip. practically waisted few hours. then i just stopped playing as the lag got unbearable.
a lag this big might mean loss of revenue to ccp. and i'm not talking about "isk".

Monday 19/09/2005 17:00 GMT - huge lag in Genesis, lasted at least 30mins (I logged until 21:00 GMT) - 29+ seconds to move an item from a secure can in my hanger to my hanger (container had 26 items in it)
Tuesday 20/09/2005 12:10 GMT - huge lag in Sinq Liason, lasted for ~20mins, 30 secs to undock, 30-40 secs to jump. Put this down to login of players after DT.
Tuesday 20/09/2005 17:05 GMT - extreme lag in Essence, logged out for 1 hour 30mins. No lag on return.
Wednesday 21/09/2005 16:40 GMT - 20-30 second lag in Genesis when jumping, was intermittent for 15mins. Logged out until ~19:10, lag returned at ~20:15 GMT.
Other users outside of UK effected in systems along the way, so not my machine or ISP.
CCP, RSVP, this is unacceptable I think you will agree.

Yep, I tried to dock in Iivinen yesterday but I was kicked off the game CONNECTION TO SERVER LOST. When I reloged I was in station.
I think it started when the tuesdays hor fix was introduced. Is it a coincidence? The same thing happened whent the last hotfix was added. Maybe the developers should know it.

Bad lag on Sunday. Worse lag on Tuesday. Last night worst of all.
I foolishly tried to do a mission. There was at least a 10-15 second delay on all commands I tried (fire weapons, afterburner, orbit, lock target, etc.) but did the lag affect the NPCs? No, of course not. While my ship is waiting impatiently to attack the next target the serpentis scum is dealing out damage at will.
Not good enough CCP.
I don't pay a monthly subscription to play eve "IF" your servers can cope.

has anyone read the article " interviem with rocket man" on the home page,,
in it ccp are saying they have 70k subscription and the existing capacity to double the concurrent player level " without major problems"
so i guess 30 second lag aint a major issue to them..
read the article,, makes for good entertainment,,
like having 50 support staff ??
sorry for any flaming,, but hey , eve may be a fantasy universe,, but we live in a real one,, and we expect playability,, i would accept a much lower quality of game artistically if it ment a more stable useable game,,
if i can see it,, hit it,, or mine it thats will do me,, lil flashing lights and writing hell even dust clouds dont mean a whole lot to me..

In the middle of a mission and everything stopt .... can't chat, can't dock, can't jump .... login takes about 4 or 5 minutes and my brother has no problem at all :(

There's massive lag in Aunia in Sing Laison. It's been going on for about 2 hours now and is actually getting worse. At first it just took 5 or 10 seconds to shoot your guns or maneuver. Now it's taking upwards of a minute just to loot a can.
Some kind of response from CCP would be appreciated here.

dammit , lag ahoy for me too, maybe if we try logging in multiple times we might be lucky to get on a server node that isnt lagging out, altho, at 5-10mins log in time at mo, might take a while to get lucky.

Its just not funny anymore!! for the last few weeks the lag has been just unbareable at times, PvP has become a test of luck and a hope that you don't get lagged out at gate.
The player numbers may be at 16,000 at busy times but what good is that if the game is becoming unplayable due to the sheer load placed upon the servers (i presume thats whats causing it).
Please ccp fix it sooner rather than later... i can't face mining which is about all i can do at the moment :(

I lost my raven today 'cos of lag.. I was killing 2 300k bs's.. Easy kill, but got blown 'cos of 30 sec lag..

You should petition. They pull the logs if you say you lost a ship because of lag. If the server log shows lag, you will get your raven back.

I could try that.. One of my probs is RAM.. I have only 256.. I'm going to upgrade it to 1,5GB..
Now I need to do lvl 3 missions to get 160m..

I agree fully. In the first place, there is a huge load of reading to do for this game, and not all of it is in the same place. When you log onto eve-online.com, you are literally bombarded with information.
The good people at Eve are making a fortune with this game. Just do the math.
Bearing that in mind, I don't think it's too much to ask for someone from Eve management to respond to this thread.
MMORPG's are proliferating like rabbits, and each one of them is addictive in its own way. Surely Eve management doesn't want to just blow off its paying subscribers, some of whom may choose never to return. I mean, why take money out of your own pocket and just throw it away?
Come on, Eve people. We're your bread and butter. Talk to us here. Please.
