Player(me): We lost a lot of items in a division hangar. How do we track what corporation members take from and give to the corporation hangar divisions?
We do not know who took that stuff... paranoia isn't good in a corp!
We need a way to track it, and maybe intervene if someone steals...
Gamemaster: The only method you have as things are today is to look in members hangars and see if you spot any of the items you are missing. I am not allowed to give you any backend information about players which is not available in the game. I agree that it would be good to have a logging system available to the CEO and directors that would show what is taken from corp hangars and hopefully that will be added someday. As things stand today however there is nothing i can do for you i am afraid. Best regards, [GM]Guard
Let us please get a log on the division hangars, so that eg. the auditor or a detective can track normal habbits or bad habbits like theft. Maybe even let him sort the data by amounts taken per interval (time, date...). We have the auditor, now we just need a detective! Please! Pretty please! :)

You can use the audit log containers/station containers for this purpose, as you can set permissions on them and they provide a log of transactions. The containers can't be recycled to erase the evidence either (at least until the last log entry is older than a certain period of time. 3 weeks?)
It's a bit cumbersome, but it is a workaround you might care to use if you want to track who took what. I agree that it would be a good idea to have logging added to division hangers though, although I wonder how much processing that would take, especially for larger corps. |

"it is a workaround", yes a workaround.. which doesn't work for POS starbases or some NPC stations and Outposts.... those station warehouses etc. is not available anywhere.. and guess what.... CCP has nerfed the freighter so they can not move these containers!

Seeing as CCP left out take transactions from audit can logs they are worthless for stoping corp theft.
PLEASE CCP stop avoiding this issue! Give us the ability to know who took stuff out of audit cans. It will not stop corp theft all it will do is allow a corp to place the blame where it is due!

Lesson to be learned: If you cant fully trust corp members with there granted roles then dont give it to them. Dont Ever give roles to new corp members and keep everything in Secure station containers so that all actions will be tracked.
As for the stuff you lost allready Im afraid your out of luck. Just follow my advice above and it wont happen again.
