Anyone here used to own one?
I found mine recently in a pile of junk I was clearing out and could not bring myself to bin it.
Its getting to the point where I my plug it into the TV for nostalgia sakes.

I have an old Sinclair Spectrum 48k and it friggin Pwns in Eve! I liek have an uber F1-F8 micro on it.
Only downside is the long loading time since it only has a tape recorder to load programs, and don't even get me started on when I need to copy a new install onto new tape... sheesh.

I think we have an Acorn Electron kicking around in the loft at my mum's house somewhere.
I remember playing a game called Cyclon Attack on it for ages. Then came the Spectrum 128k +2 and Elite :)

I wrote a few cool games for the ZX81.
Well ... cool for their time. I wrote a "fly through the asteroid belt" game, which everyone at school loved. You piloted your ship, and had to avoid the asteroids coming towards you.
Or, put another way ... you used the cursor keys to move a capital V left and right on the screen, while capital Os scrolled up it. And if you hit an O, you lost.
Oh, and it could only use half the screen or it ran out of memory and crashed.
Ahhh, great days.
