Beautiful video. Only problem, it shows the devs that rockets aren't underpowered.
Un-nerf Caldari ships!!!
Seriously though, great video.

Pretty cool, i really liked the fights against plated opponents. Rocket launchers t2 provide constant dps and 2*MARC+400mm (99.9% guess) give enough hp's to outlast the enemy even in close range. Come visit Stain

Nah; it shows 400mm plate is enough edge to offset the lukewarm dps. Since this is getting "fixed" with sledgehammer, so will be the Crow ¼¼;;

Um Lol? Hes killing other plated intys if you didnt notice. Crow is currently near unbeatable when flown by a good pilot. Orbit at 7.5km and spam kk. Its almost as uber as the old "orbit at 18km and spam lights" crows.

Watch that video again ^^
full maxed out rocket salvo from Crow is ~110 hp to armour, after resistances. That means 400mm plated inteceptor can take ~12-15 salvos, unplated 4-5. Makes lot of difference in how that armour bar on targeted ship turns red as each salvo hits.
There's few ships in that video that definitely look plated -- three or so autocannon Claw, and couple of Crows... one Taranis but think poor sucker had blasters. Everything else in the movie is running with what seems like repairer + whatever they put in the lows (gank setups, i'd guess)

Yeah, it'll work if the whole optimal+falloff of the other guy is considerably shorter than that. There's whole what, two inty setups that actually meet that condition? Try it against anything that hits at 7.5 km too and actually sports some sort of protection, and it can be quite different story -.o

There's a good reason for that , at 7.5km, the blasters on a taranis or autocannons on a claw that often go with plated inties will not be doing much damage, as you can see from the taranis fights, when/if they do get close enough (under 2km), blasters and autocannons will outdamage a rocket crow by miles.

only probelm with rockets is either their long range or their low fitting req for their range.

Oh I know why you do it. Its just that j0 thinking that a rocket crow somehow isn't good is making me o_O. Thats why the rocket crow pwns, it can outdamage every long range while outranging every short range.

Yeah j0, theres only 2 setups that are under 7.5km range. Unfortunately those are the only 2 ships/setups that outdamage a rocket crow. You outdamage everything except a blasteranis and a autoclaw, but you outrange both of them so you win. The only ship that "hits at 7.5km and sports some kind of protection" would be a 125 II taranis with a 200mm plate. And crow is much faster so it will get in range and kill it. You cant fit a plate on a claw or a crusader when using long range guns.

Oi, but that ain't true, really? ^^;; i mean, depends how you'll count the damage, obviously, but the 'ranis with named rails will match Crow exactly (both in damage output and in the setup of mids and lows which can be identical, down to 400mm plate ... checked it yesterday)
Then you have pulse Crusader which can fry Crow easily damage-wise (but sucks with two mids) and the artillery Claw which does tiny bit less damage, but can on the other hand easily kite. And yes, you're right Crow stands a chance to win with these ships because she can mount the heavy plate which offsets things in her favour... which is what i originally said -- that when plates get "sorted out" Crow will lose that advantage and likely gets knocked a bit down the ladder ^^;;
Don't get me wrong, am not trying to say (or think) she's _bad_ ship ^^ i like her a lot, she's most fun i had since old Kestrels and Blackbirds. It's more like, she is a good ship because she can perform wide range of tasks and stands good chance in most fights, without having to specifically refit for them. But that's to large degree due to ability to mount both the reasonable firepower *and* heavy plate ... you take one of these away and she winds up considerably crippled :/
