Morkt: The "yet unidentified, Dominix-Class Battleship belonging to others in the VA." was the part of your report that was incorrect. It was some 3rd party guy, Aliace or something was the name, I think Stavros killed him. I'll try to get the exact name from my IRC logs if you are curious.

Also a question - do you classify Fountain Alliance and Stain Alliance as piratical alliances too?

Cool, thanks Morkt for the clarification that every corp in Stain Alliance is a member of a "piratical alliance", ditto for every member of the Fountain Alliance.

Now that this is settled, let's get down to what is really important - who is the most ebil!

Dear VA pirates: You need to be the awesomest pirates ever. Don't let those Stain Alliance or Fountain Alliance pirate wannabes put you to shame, because any ebil you do, automatically makes TTI ebil. I'm gonna be sooo embarrassed if Cornexant or Xanadu or any non-pirate corp gets more ebil points than us because their piratical alliance pirates do a better job of piracy than you.

Nah Zap, that made sense. Don't beat yourself up so much.

Hey is Moo a member of one of the "piratical alliances"? I'm hoping the answer is no, because otherwise whichever non-pirate corps you are piratically allied with with is gonna get some of your ebil points.

Lol this is so cool, you are writing ad copy for TTI!

It is a good start, but I really think you need to customize it more though. As it is it is entirely too easy for our competitors in every single company in Stain or Fountain Alliances to say the same thing just by swapping names. I mean, to pick a couple of random other piratical alliance corps, "We give as Tycho Heavy Industries, we take as Evolution" or "We give as Homeworld Technologies, we take as Anti Sheep Mafia". Substitute any other corp name and it still works and is just as accurate - that's no fun at all Sad

How about a more TTI-specific ring to it? That would at least make it a more TTI-specific ad. Like, "Objectivism gives you the most affordable ships in the galaxy - and VA will give you a chance to use them!" Actually, that one isn't very good either - while our hypercapitalism does yield some of the best prices and biggest variety of ship sales from any corp in the galaxy, it still isn't that specific to TTI. Given your facility with words I'm sure you can do better!

Thanks again for all your efforts! Very Happy

Damn "The Mole" for telling me whats going on.

Bad Mole!

Naughty Mole!

"All TTi are happy like Hiro!"
Lol!

Overall I am quite happy with TTI actually. TTI isn't perfect, and some TTI members get a bit defensive on these boards, but overall TTI is run really quite well, and has allowed me to earn a lot of really cool stuff. Please have your mole look up my posts in TTI's internal for sale forum if you want proof :)

BTW, have you played MMORPGs before Morkt? If not, you may want to get moles in some other corps going too - the internal debates on TTI boards are pretty calm/boring and are fairly small stuff compared to how bad I've seen flaming go on internal forums of guilds/corps in other games I've played. I bet you could find a lot of really juicy stuff to report on if you expanded your "moling" to more companies!

Just a thought. Keep the love coming! Very Happy

Somehow I think that the average Galactic resident will be somewhat put-out to know that after Space Invaders robs them, TTi will stop them from gaining retribution.
Whoa, I just had a major revelation.

I kept scratching my head why Morkt is so focused on TTI and VA and why he doesn't seem to realize that the vast majority of major corps belong to some "piratical" regional alliance. I mean, I haven't yet seen him flame an aboveboard company like CNX for being piratically allied with EVO, for instance. All the theories about Morkt "reporting" on TTI/VA because he is biased are totally wrong. He isn't leaking only TTI's private forums because he has an axe to grind with TTI - no!

I know the real truth.

Well, now that Hiro has covered the response for the TTI pre-schools how about the rest of TTi?
Oh, I know my response was nonsense. But nonsense begets nonsense, and I'm still curious about why you lub us so much. Very Happy

Put another way, I'm trying to understand how your critique of TTI differs from: "HEY! TTI is in a regional alliance! And that regional alliance has (gasp!) pirates! And that's bad!" But you never explained why it is bad, especially given tons of other major non-pirate corps are in exactly the same kind of alliance.

So help me out here - why is it so newsworthy that TTI is in a regional alliance?

P.S. Get a sense of humour man!

Ok Morkt, you caught me.

I have to admit - Setec, Morpheus - heck all of the VA - they really don't exist. They are clever computer programs written by l33t TTI s0fT\/\/aR3 hAKz0rZ, all with the express purpose of being ebil.

Err, wait - they exist, but we brainwashed the entire alliance. Yep, every one of them is our lapdog. We supply them with their ships (using isk we stole from your wallets during market transactiosn remember), modules to mount (collectde during downtime from the pirates), and even tell them where to engage in their piracy (wherever we want the competition owned - and they do a damn fine job of it!)

And don't forget, m0o is our lapdog and TTI's responsibility too. We get ebil kudoz for whatever they do. I'm not exactly sure why, but maybe you can help me here and provide the reason for it?

Hell, I wonder if we can take credit for Sharks With Lasers or whatever they are called? Wait, I know: "TTI created sharks with lasers to they would HAVE AN EXCUSE (I think this is especially clever) to go to VA and TAKE IT OVER, therefore OPPRESSING EVERYBODY - in the VA or our of it. This is THE BIGGEST POLITICAL ISSUE OF ALL TIME and not only that but CONCORDE IS CORRUPTED BY TTI, and especially those TTI CONTROLLED GUERISTAs."

How am I doing? BTW, does your defense weekly writer position pay a good isk salary? I don't work for free!

Remember people: TTI is the ebil that goes bump in the downtime. Twisted Evil
