Yes, I'd accept a duel under certain circumstances.
In some cases, my victim runs after seeing my setup, then fits out accordingly at a station and then wishes for a duel. If that is the case of course not, but normally I probably would do a 1v1.

I duel who ever asks me for one, dont care if he has 20 friends in local, i trust everyone untill they screw me over.

More to the point...
Whats more fun, running around being chased for several hours, or just getting it over and done with in a 1v1?

When some1 propose a duel.
Go to a safe spot (it took only 2 jumps time to make it).
After that group and he'll come to you.
No way for interference from any other fighter unless they probe you.
If he leave group or warp before fight begin, change your safe spot.
This is not perfect but it reduce risks.

this would be dishonorable if montcalm didnt forget to mention that he jammed half san in 1v1 ... tbh i had ****load of 1v1 and lost 3 so far, but never i got jammed or jamed anyone. 1v1 rules are no ew (jam,damp etc etc) so dont see whats really dishonorable in what half san did.

Nothing wrong in jamming someone in 1v1 except if you forgot to load some yourself! I see one of the Munchkins bunch also used EW in their treacherous gank, is that bad too, or is that alright?

there is no EW in 1v1, as using EW in 1v1 is cowardly, montcalm broke rules of 1v1 and he got wasted by half san's mates.

Question: Since when? Is there a rule list stickied somewhere I need to hunt down so I can be aware of the standard rules? Not being argumentative here I honestly want to know. I do not wish to break eve ettiquette.

If they established that before hand then you're right. If not then another poster is correct. In the absence of rules, the only rule is it has to be 1 v 1. Just because you were never jammed doesn't mean anything at all. So, was it established before?

Ark, did you read the conversations? Half Sans never even mentions use of EW let alone complain about it. It appears fairly obvious that he intended to gank from the outset. He called it good tactics. I think you offered up a lame excuse after you or someone thought it up. An excuse that wouldn't hold water even if it were the only reason Half San brought in help.

Another Story :
Last night around 01:00 ..Iv ransomed a Cyclone with my Rax ..the guy didnt payed me, soo "booOoom" and i got his nice loot.
The guy started screaming in local "you gonna die ..yar yar yar" ..So i gave his a fair chance, that he could challenge me with in the next 20min (coz i was fraked in the system).
The next guy that jumped in the system, Iv asked if he would help the other guy " 2 vs me " ..he jumped, and came back in a Megathron ..Allright abit unfair VS my thorax ..but okay
So i took the challenge VS the megathron. The rich miner gave his word "only You, me and him" ..ill agreed ..we warped to a random moon and hell broke lose on his fancy ship.
But as I knew, bored rich miners are carebears as hell ..So intire local was warping to there too .. 5-6 Locals VS ME ! 
So Yea ill take a duel ..but question of "fair" duel ?
Well I got his bs armor to half ..shot his friend (infact twice) and warped away from 5-6 stupid "trusty" carebears with a hole ships as I started with
But it was major F-U-N ! |

i usually only duel people in my crow although i dont ask for a duel i usually sit around in hostile territory waiting for someone to come along who will fight me and if they do I take the fight unless i see a ranis or crusader movin really slow as if they have a plate or something then i jet cause its not worth it...
