As a former string player (not quite good enough to get a ride through college on it so I had to do the GI Bill thing and stopped playing) I have to say it is really awe inspiring to hear the oh so familiar syth music of EVE become "real" music and not a studio product.
. . .that and getting to make fun of the viola players.
Oh, and anyone in the premium live stream, tell Manifest to kick the BizDev team in the ass and get this shipped already! |

Watching the feed for the symphony while others may feel it is anti-climatic people that have put effort into the game and listened to some of these songs for years can really enjoy the sheer magnitude that it will move you to hear them played by a professional orchestra. |

After hearing these songs for many hours in the eve universe I have to admit I'm almost moved when I hear them now trough the stream. Its insane how good it sounds when professionals play them on real instruments. It makes me remember my first days in eve. |

CCP, all I can say is thank you. I feel in love with this game partly because I absolutely loved how the music made the atmosphere of the game more immersive. I've been waiting six years to hear this performed by a symphony, and now I can honestly say I am very satisfied.

I watched it once. It was beautiful.
The second time I only listened. Patched a cable to the stereo, put it on full blast, opened the doors to the garden and dove deep into the music wile sitting in the sun, cool beer in hand. Incredible....
When it was finished (and I had descended from New Edens space again) I noticed my next door neighbour hanging over the fence, asking if I could make a copy for him...
Lousy bastard that I am, I said no. But If CCP makes it available for sale, I will buy two and give him one.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format.
Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

That was beyond awesome. Please when you make it available, make sure that download versions have a lossless format option. lossy formats like MP3 wouldn't do this justice and I would gladly pay extra for lossless files. |
